There can be no proof of such a thing, nor can there be an object of focus, because if there were a single, indivisible, truly established consciousness, it would always remain in that state, and would never become a consciousness that is clear and able to cognize various different things. Therefore, how could it be the basis for the appearance of the dharmas of samsara and nirvana? It cannot be. Therefore, it is absolutely impossible for another consciousness other than this clear and cognitive consciousness to be truly established. And this clear and cognitive consciousness, because it is itself clear and cognitive, can now be determined not to be truly established by its own nature. Therefore, the nature of mind is free from grasping and being grasped, and its self-nature is luminosity. It is also luminous because of the key point of emptiness, which is not established by its own nature. For a truly established consciousness, it is impossible to establish the meaning of self-nature luminosity. Therefore, even if it is said that the wisdom of the Buddha or the Prajnaparamita does not abide in any extreme of existence or non-existence, this is what the Madhyamaka school, the pinnacle of Buddhist tenets, proclaims. Although it is true that in the ultimate sense, it does not abide in any of the four extremes, here, relying on reasoning and subsequent cognition, in the manner of negating all extremes. In this way, those students who do not understand the meaning of immutable, all-supreme emptiness, skillful means of great bliss, and non-duality, merely grasp the emptiness that is the severance of the four objects of negation as reality, and thus view emptiness. Therefore, it is difficult to see the meaning of the union of reality as it is. Therefore, the all-pervading Lord, the Blessed One Kalachakra, said: "The unchanging, co-emergent nature, the bliss of the Vajra body, the body abides, not born from the body." Such teachings are taught in the Mantra Vehicle. Relying on the Vajra body, by making that bliss the path through the completion stage, one can directly realize the meaning of the oneness of emptiness and great bliss that does not abide in any extreme, and thus realize the reality of phenomena, gradually through the wisdom of example and meaning. Therefore,

The path of mantra is faster than sutra because it is through this gate of swift wisdom that one realizes suchness. What is the meaning of the three distinctions: "immovable, coemergent, and bodily bliss"? If it refers to the bliss of union with mudra and intercourse, how can it be immovable and coemergent, since it is bliss that is easily discharged? If one thinks that the bliss of non-discharge achieved through the power of wind is immovable and coemergent, then although it is said so in the context of the path, however, before it is accomplished, the great bliss that dwells coemergently in the vajra body will not exist without being newly cultivated. In that case, the great bliss of the innate nature of reality, which is said to be the nature of all things, will never be possible, and great bliss will become a sudden phenomenon. Therefore, the great bliss that dwells naturally in the vajra body is, according to the terminology of the path of means, the indestructible bindu of the nature of the three primordials. As it is said in other tantras: "Great wisdom dwells in one's own body, the indestructible bindu is great bliss, pervading all like the sky, the body dwells, not born from the body." That is what it means. According to the terminology of the path of liberation, the nature of mind, the nature of self-luminous clarity, which dwells coemergently from the beginning, is called great bliss, but these two are not different in meaning, because they are of one taste in the essence of all aspects of wisdom. In this way, the vajra of the primordial mind, or the nature of the self-luminous mind, is the nature of emptiness or solitude, self-luminous, free from all networks of elaboration, which is the nature of all sentient beings. However, it is obscured by sudden obscurations and has not manifested. Therefore, in this mantra vehicle, in order to manifest that nature of oneself, the complete stage of meditating on the union of bliss and emptiness, the path to manifest one's own nature, is shown without concealment. Through this path, the radiance of the self-luminous, the ten signs of the self-luminous, and the bliss of the mudras arise in sequence. At the end of the yogi's experience, the ordinary winds and minds, the sudden phenomena, cease in the primordial realm, and when the immutable body of wisdom is accomplished, the nature of reality from the ground state
