It is said to pierce for the sake of (penetration), but it is not to destroy and eliminate. Similar to that jewel is the unique emptiness that possesses all perfections. By familiarizing oneself with it, the channels of the body are pierced, thereby making it free from obscurations. Therefore, practicing yoga with the form of emptiness is the most supreme among all yogas. The form of emptiness is the form whose own nature is primordially empty. Therefore, the state of its own nature is without beginning or end. Since both are absent, there is no middle, meaning there is no part of the beginning, end, or middle. Although it is not the nature of an object, it appears as an object, like illusion, dream, and mirage. That which is realized through one's own experience is the unchanging bliss of the Bhagavan Kalachakra, which bestows the state of equality, so it is said. Thus, the image of emptiness, from the very beginning, is neither born nor ceases in its own nature, yet it appears in various forms. This is an exceedingly wondrous matter. It should not be thought that the form of emptiness is momentary arising and ceasing in the state of its own nature. If any appearance has its own state of arising and ceasing in name, then it is not the form of emptiness, but becomes no different from things. If it is thought to be no different, then the clear appearances that are non-existent, such as images, must also be the appearance itself, using itself as the proximate cause of the previous moment, thereby establishing the arising of the subsequent moment. Therefore, it is reasonable to accept it as real, and it will not become a clear appearance that is non-existent. If this is the case, it is impossible to establish in the world an example that proves that phenomena do not arise from their own nature, and emptiness will not be able to be established by reasoning. However, this is not the case, because even worldly people recognize that images and so on appear, but they do not exist as the nature of things, so they are able to realize the clear appearance that is non-existent. If one does not accept that the images in a mirror and so on are impermanent, then one must accept that they are permanent. If one thinks this way, although one accepts that the appearance is impermanent, one does not accept the impermanence of momentary nature, nor does one accept the permanence that is not momentary, because imputing permanence and impermanence to a clear appearance that is non-existent is a fault of one's own mind.

No. Likewise, how should appearances that are empty be regarded as either real or unreal? They are not real in the sense of being subject to arising and ceasing, nor are they unreal in the sense of being merely appearances without substance. Therefore, they are a union of emptiness and appearance. However, they are referred to as unreal in that their appearance is not ultimately true. Thus, images and the like appear due to the power of causes, conditions, and interdependence. However, they do not appear constantly, because when the collection of causes disperses, they no longer appear. In terms of how they appear, they are impermanent, multiple, and composed of parts. However, in terms of their own essence, they do not arise even at the time of their appearance, nor do they remain permanent for as long as they appear, and ultimately they do not cease either. Similarly, although they appear as many parts and various forms, they are not established as such. Empty forms such as smoke also appear as impermanent and composed of parts, but they are not established as such. Therefore, they are not momentary or composed of many parts, and it is repeatedly stated and logically proven that they transcend the characteristics of particles and moments. Merely appearing as having temporal and spatial parts does not make them impermanent or composed of parts, just like the sky of the past and future, the sky of the east, south, west, and north, and the sky inside round pots and squares. Thus, although these empty, clear appearances and empty forms such as smoke are similar in that they appear as empty forms while being without inherent existence, the other empty, clear appearances are deceptive, impure, deluded, and ordinary appearances, while the empty forms such as smoke are signs of the self-luminous nature, and are undeluded and non-deceptive. Therefore, it is important to recognize the great difference between them. The completion stage of the practice of the first Buddha is briefly explained in this chapter, and will be explained in detail in the wisdom chapter. Thus, if one practices activities based on the generation stage, one performs activities through samadhi and recitation, etc. If one relies on the completion stage, all activities are accomplished through the accomplishment of life and form. The commentary states that after the previous summary, it is explained with four great summaries of the generation stage and the completion stage practices. Then, the practice of the first Vajra Force is taught, Wrathful.
