Having abandoned and abiding in the conduct of Bodhi, one should rejoice. Then, take refuge in the Three Jewels, namely the common and uncommon Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Merely taking refuge with certainty can steal away the fear of existence. From this time until attaining the supreme and perfect enlightenment, I take refuge. Having offered oneself in this way, then, for the sake of sentient beings, one should make this vow: May I become a fully enlightened Buddha. Here, represented by "For the sake of all sentient beings, I will practice this aspiration," one should perform prostrations, make offerings, confess sins, rejoice in merit, request the Tathagata to turn the wheel of Dharma, pray not to pass into Nirvana, and completely dedicate the merit to the supreme enlightenment, thereby purely performing the seven-limb offering or the seven branches that please the Tathagatas. Then, one should remember the three roots of virtue, namely non-attachment, non-anger, and non-ignorance. What are the three roots of virtue? They are: non-attachment to one's own benefit, generating the supreme and perfect Bodhicitta; non-anger, cultivating loving-kindness of equality and exchange between oneself and others, purifying pure intention; and non-ignorance, completely abandoning the clinging to self and what belongs to self in order to enter into non-discrimination. Then, for the sake of the three accumulations of merit, discipline, and wisdom, one should fix the mind on the ten Paramitas, from the Paramita of Generosity to the Paramita of Wisdom, and contemplate them. Then, one should remember the four Brahmaviharas, such as loving-kindness. Then, one should contemplate generosity, kind speech, beneficial action, and concord, namely the four ways of gathering disciples. Then, one should contemplate abandoning the ten non-virtuous actions such as killing, abandoning the five obscurations such as regret, abandoning the afflictions such as attachment, anger, ignorance, and pride, and contemplating abandoning the four outflows of desire, existence, ignorance, and views. These are the paths that rely on one's own continuum. Then, with emptiness as the object, one should meditate on the four liberations of emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and non-composition. One should examine in detail these three realms of moving and non-moving.

Now, it is without characteristics, Because there is not even a little bit of establishment of one's own entity, this word is used to clarify the separation from elaboration. As it is said: There is no thing, and there is no meditation. Meditation is not meditation itself. Thus, because things are not things, meditation is not attainable. Thus, emptiness is the nature of the essence of knowable things, like the heat of fire and the moisture of water, all dharmas are empty by nature. Thus, all the beings of the three realms that appear, including the place and what can be placed, are all devoid of things established by their own entities, that is, without self-nature. Although it appears without self-nature, appearance and emptiness are not different, like the appearance of illusion, etc., although it appears, it is empty of truth, and each of the emptinesses with all kinds of supreme qualities is known by oneself, and is free from elaboration. Thus, all dharmas are inherently inseparable, and the very nature of the dharmadhatu abides in the equality of suchness, and there is no other sign of the fruit of enlightenment of the Buddha to be attained other than the equality of dharmata, and extreme purity is without aspiration. For the benefit of others, compassion, etc., and the vows of the characteristics of the two-way dharma of attachment to self and others, etc., are not there, that is without cause. If one knows that all things are the nature of the three doors of liberation, and the dharmadhatu is without object, then it will never change, but even so, alas! O Lord of Men, the nature of the three vajras of body, speech, and mind is the mandala of the fruition of immeasurable qualities and without obscurations. For the mandala of samadhi to be accomplished, Bodhisattvas should practice, thereby obtaining immeasurable merit like illusion, and in order to manifest the mandala of suchness, which is the nature of the ground and the fruit, without obscurations. Thus, the two truths are not only not contradictory, but also inseparable, and the realization of one meaning is the door of non-intentionality or self-luminousness, because the reality in which the two truths are originally inseparable is immutable, so it is the same as the way of realizing the eight profound depths, and is the profound essence of the vajra words.
