Place them, the second part in the east and fire, the third in the south and southwest, the fourth in the north and the powerful, the fifth in the west and my vase. Likewise, with the distinction of pills or lumps, the grains and the forest medicines mentioned earlier, such as frankincense, and the twenty-five spices such as cardamom, the five sets according to how they are obtained, should also be placed separately in different vases, placing a small piece or a small part in each. If this is not possible, then there is no choice but to grind each part into powder. Again, the five precious substances, the five metals, the five forest medicines, the five grains, and the five spices, these twenty-five things should be wrapped in clean cloth, etc., and placed in a container filled with victorious conch water. In these things, according to the empowerment ritual, the deity should be well generated and recited, and then, after offering a mandala and making supplications beforehand, the Vajra Master should invite the empowerment deities, make offerings and supplications, and thereby bestow the empowerment. Thus it is said. With that vase, empowerment should be given to the five places of birth, which are they? The crown of the head and the shoulders, and the right and left joints connected to the arms, and the right and left between the hips and thighs. The so-called five places of birth refer to the five elements that arise in the womb, the places where the five protuberances of birth are first created, that is, the place of birth of the space element is the crown of the head, the place of birth of the wind and fire elements are the right and left shoulder joints, the place of birth of the water and earth elements are the right and left hip joints, or in the "Turning of the Cow Sutra" it says the knee joints, empowerment should be given to those places with the vase. This is not only the case for the first water empowerment of the seven empowerments, but it is explained that in the remaining six empowerments as well, the same method should be followed when giving the supplementary water empowerment. After performing these actions with the throwing of flowers and the mantra of opening the eyes, let the flower thrown by the disciple fall on the deity of the family, and first introduce the main deity of the mandala, and then introduce all the deities of the mandala. Thus, first purify the lineage at the eastern gate, and then in the northern direction, at the door of the body, the water that purifies the aggregates and elements and the crown empowerment. In the southern direction, at the door of speech, the water that purifies the central channel of the twenty-five letters and the individual tastes, and the empowerment of the silk banner and the vajra bell. In the eastern direction, at the door of the mind, the asceticism and name empowerment that purify the object of empowerment. West
