Due to cutting the veins, at the end of forty-five days in three directions, there is one month, which must be understood as the last month of survival. The eight thousand veins of the forehead, throat, and secret place cannot be cut, so the eight days of that part are the eight days of cutting the heart vein. The thirty days of the secret place, fifty-six hours and a quarter, converted into days, are thirty-two days. The remaining two days besides the thirty days and the one day of cutting the central channel are called three nights. Those two days go into cutting the heart vein, and one cuts the central channel. Meditating on these seed syllables of the date deities can also purify and bless the veins. The letters of the elements also reside in these veins.
