At this time, the commentary says, "For others, that is, the self-nature of others, etc." The Jo translation says, "For others, that is, form is also other, etc." Although there are various explanations for the meaning of this sentence, the meaning is like this: If there is no goer, who will go to the path of liberation? Even without the self of the goer, for the continuity of the other aggregates such as form, etc., that is, the other forms, etc., are said to be the self-nature and basis of that person, etc. Like this, it has not appeared in previous commentaries. Here, the conditioned phenomena of birth are bound to samsara in the conventional truth, but are not bound in the ultimate truth. If they were bound in the ultimate truth, then they would never be able to be liberated. As the sutra says, "All dharmas are neither bound nor liberated." But those samsaric beings who have not understood this way are bound by karma and afflictions due to their own conceptualization. Here, in this world, the phenomena of birth are also bound by self, karma, and afflictions. The phenomena of cessation, that is, those who have already ceased in the previous birth, will no longer be bound by karma and afflictions, as Khedrup Je (མཁས་གྲུབ་) said in the Great Commentary on the Pramāṇavārttika (འགྲེལ་ཆེན་). Here, the meaning of distinguishing the two truths as dharmas is: the phenomena of arising and ceasing that arise from causes and conditions, such as various impermanent things like form, etc., and the permanent phenomena without substance such as space, etc., also exist. These two are completely different in nature and mutually exclusive. Similarly, the phenomena that appear and the emptiness without substance in which their self-nature is not established are also different in the conventional truth, but not so in the ultimate truth. How is it in the ultimate truth? The sutra says, "Without momentary distinction, without self-nature, there is existence." The meaning of this sentence is explained in the commentary: "Here, when things and non-things become mixed together, without self-nature, and separated from the permanent aspect of substance, like Prapañca. Without momentary distinction, that is, things that are separated from arising and ceasing, exist for the sake of the Buddhas turning the wheel of Dharma." This refers to what appears as things and non-things, but in the ultimate truth is its own characteristic.

Because it is not established by individual differences, all dharmas transform into a single taste in the realm of suchness, so there is no division of two dharmas in the realm of dharma. Therefore, by abiding in the non-dual nature of dharma, the appearance of duality will cease, and ultimately even the subtle habitual imprints of duality will be exhausted, which is commonly accepted by all Madhyamikas. Thus, if one thinks that the realm of suchness, which eliminates the delusion of dualistic appearance, is beyond existence and non-existence, or is not beyond existence and non-existence but possesses both, or any other possibility, although one does not accept possessing both or being substantial, if one cannot accept being free from elaboration beyond existence and non-existence, then one can only establish the mere aspect of non-affirming emptiness, which is merely the cessation of true establishment, as the realm of dharma. When combining such a realm of dharma and a subject of dharma to establish a system, even if one says that one can combine the object and the subject, combine appearance and emptiness, mixing them indistinguishably like water into water, it is never possible to mix them in reality, and even if one mixes them with conceptual thought, they cannot be mixed, just like mixing a vase and space. Thus, for the differences between existence and non-existence to exist without being mixed, one must also recognize their non-mixture with wisdom that accords with meaning. In this way, this wisdom, which has the field of experience of conventional dualistic appearance, will transform into the wisdom that realizes suchness of existence, and the wisdom that realizes ultimate non-duality will not transform into the wisdom that realizes suchness of existence, because if one must regard the appearance of duality as a reversed consciousness that appears as non-dual, then such a view is not a position that Buddhist proponents could even dream of. Therefore, although in the conventional it is undeniable that existence and non-existence each appear as different characteristics, due to the key point that appearance is not established by its own characteristics as it appears, if one speaks from the perspective of the ultimate, where the two truths are inseparable and non-different, existence and non-existence will not be different, but will become one taste, and one must regard that ultimate reality, which yogis can each realize with their own self-awareness, as suchness or the realm of dharma, and not merely the negating aspect of emptiness and its subject of dharma.
