Fifteen is the term for fifteen, so it is fifteen hours. The forty-five that is multiplied by three must also be given as an addition to the enjoyment of Mars from the perspective of accomplishment. From the perspective of worldly fame, the phrase "with half a month of night" is combined with forty-five. From the perspective of accomplishment, it is the enjoyment of Duva, so it is not combined with Jupiter and Saturn. In other translations here, "with half a month of night" is better translated as "from the days and nights of half a month." The enjoyment of the chief is that the one hundred and twenty-five days of the three years and three quarters of the chief's Wheel of Time are also the enjoyment of the five planets, Rahu, and six. Here, each day of the hundred years of days and nights becomes a debt, and Rahu also enjoys it, so it is also the enjoyment of the five planets, Rahu, and six. This verse, "Each day of the days and nights, the debt is the enjoyment of the chief, and the six planets also enjoy it," is correctly stated. Now, from the enjoyment of Rahu related to the two quarters, the enjoyment of Ketu or the long-tailed star is spoken of. Here, the previous slow action spoke of three years and one quarter of thirty-six and a half months, and the remaining one month of the remaining two quarters, for the slow work or action, whatever part of the breath of the all-pervading chief, after which the five planets did not enjoy that one month, Rahu enjoys both the sun and the moon. As mentioned above, multiplying by the eight qualities of the sun and moon, and dividing by thirty, the rough part of the sun's wisdom, obtaining eight, also shows that the all-pervading one is called Rahu. Or, if those eight are again made into hours, and divided by sixty, the rough part of the moon's wisdom, obtaining eight hours, that should be grasped. From those eight, in order to show more clearly the part of Duva's enjoyment, the remaining time after discarding half an hour, the seven hours including half, are the enjoyment of Rahu. How is it that seven and a half hours enjoy this one month of the sun's house? Roughly speaking, Rahu rotates fifteen constellations.

Dividing these days and nights according to the hours (Srang, a unit of measurement) of the constellations yields fifteen hours, which is the enjoyment of each constellation's day and night. Multiplying that by thirty yields eight and a half hours, which corresponds to the common saying. The enjoyment of Rahu's constellation month is the three qualities of the sun plus the five qualities of the moon, a total of eight qualities, which is seven and a half hours of Rahu. Less than seven and a half hours by half an hour is because half the darkness belongs to Rahu, but the enjoyment of Ketu is without half darkness.
