It seems that this should be considered as the initial area. Observing the location of the moon, stars, etc., and how much of the daytime has passed, adjust the time according to the situation at that time. This needs to be examined. Although the Kalachakra calculates the middle position of the sun through the Phukpa calendar, it seems that it needs to be calculated through the true position of the sun. If so, then it is appropriate to calculate by adding about thirty-two hours to the true position of the sun in the Phukpa calendar. By practicing calculation, this will become easy, and there is no need to distinguish the meaning houses. Similarly, if the time nails are fixed on the true position of the sun, then it will be convenient to practice. Regarding the ultimate measure of the length of day and night, the Phukpa calendar considers there to be a difference of thirty-three and twenty-seven. But in general, as stated in Phonetics and other texts, when the sun is at its longest, the day is thirty-six hours and the night is twenty-four hours. When it is shortest, it is the opposite of this, which is reasonable. Although in other places, it is said that the longest time is forty chapters, I think this is too long and should be studied by relying on clocks and other things. In places with very high terrain, the sunlight also shines earlier. Apart from the positions of the sun and moon, other calculations such as the five planets matching the eye stars are also good even according to the Phukpa calendar. The so-called solar return is to take the day when the solar return can be seen in the daytime as the first day, and then push it forward, it seems that the reversal will occur on the ninth day, and by observing the shadow of the sun, it seems to be consistent with this. This is similar to the solar return in the Chinese calendar. Similarly, the measurement of time scales such as breathing is determined by the sun, so it should be understood according to the above reasoning. Apart from the above differences, it seems better to do all other calculations according to the Phukpa calendar. These are the meaning of the outer wheel of time, and some key points of astrology, as supplementary explanations. Up to this point, the meaning of the first chapter, that is, the explanation of the twenty-four questions, has ended. The 109th verse describes that the meaning of the chapter on the world realm has ended. Next is the beginning of explaining the next chapter, that is, the outer How the world realm was initially formed, how it exists after it is formed, how these forms and scales are generated or expanded, and the constellations of the twelve houses that hold time, how the planets move in them, and at what time the land is equal or similar to it

In the twelve lotuses, the one with the wheel of Dharma appears, causing the doctrines of outsiders and heretics to decline, and bestowing the sacred path upon the fortunate in the place of supreme bliss. I, the teacher, will tell you all of this as it is. After being called Chandra Bhadra (Moon Good), starting from the three times, in order to again bring temporary benefit and ultimate liberation to all beings, ask me, the teacher, what? With this, he urges the telling of the content of the subsequent chapters and opens the section. The name of the chapter is: Extracted from the twelve thousand verses of the great root tantra of the glorious first Buddha. The name of the tantra is: The condensed tantra of the Kalachakra, which pervades the three glorious outer, inner, and other, without duality. The chapter on the arrangement of the world realm, which is to be expressed by the name of the outer Kalachakra, is the first. The Sanskrit word for chapter is "Patala," which means "Pata" refers to cloth or coarse cloth, etc., and "La" refers to receiving. Just as clothes cover the body and protect it, the stage of the tantric meaning is like a garment, binding it with this bond and entering into its meaning, hence it is called chapter. Furthermore, the Sanskrit word for chapter is "Rivatara," which means completely translated or completely transformed; "Pariccheda," which means completely cut off; "Kramabheda," which means divided in order, etc. Although it can be explained as having the meaning of the etymological definition, here, the lamas said that the Sanskrit word for chapter is "Patala" in the Chinese version. The division of directions and times, the arrangement of the world realm, and the movement of the components of time, as well as the four seasons, etc., the intention of the outer Kalachakra, the delightful lotus garden, opened by the sunlight of good speech, please, wise ones, make it a joyful sight. This is the intermediate verse. The meaning of the first chapter has been fully explained. The meaning of the words of the glorious Kalachakra Tantra is thoroughly clear, the appearance of the Vajra Sun.
