Therefore, it is superior and does not contradict other measurements. Here, the Buddha did not assert that the measurement of the world realm is only this, but asserted it to fully elucidate the realm of merit and wisdom. Here, as mentioned above, it is ultimately immeasurable. Likewise: Sentient beings have various inclinations, Scholars of various tenets, Diligently dwelling on various paths, Those with pride and arrogance of wisdom, Those self and other tenets, If not properly explained, Such arrogant beings, Will never be free to become omniscient. The mind of benefiting others is not true, It is the cause of the accumulation of merit, The mind of harming others is true, It will surely bestow the Avici hell. The miserly ghosts do not see giving, The place of residence is seen as a mountain, The dwellings of those who commit sins, Are seen as mountains of needle points. Having attained accomplishment underground, Going to the city of goddesses, The accomplished ones always dwell, Everything is seen with holes. As it is said, the measure of the world, what the Blessed One said is the manifestation of the power of the habits of the minds of sentient beings. The Tathagata, observing the world with manifest attachment, speaking of the measure of things with the nature of the grasped and the grasper, is completely absent. Therefore, knowing all the thoughts of the beings to be tamed, in order to ripen the sages, in order to integrate the measure of the world and the body into the mandala, the Blessed One spoke thus. The tenth abode abides with the nature of the thirty-one existences. First, it is explained by the fourteen verses from 'Good Dharma' etc. to the twenty-first verse. First, that is, initially, 'Good Dharma' expresses the formless existence, because the life span in those places abides for a kalpa, so 'Good Dharma', kalpa pair, that is, combined with a pair, the so-called four are neither the peak of existence nor nothingness, boundless consciousness, boundless space, these four, their life spans are successively supreme kalpas or great kalpas four, three, two, and one. Below, it is said that hundreds of years are added from their respective breaths. Although this is long, the way it appears is different due to the power of the good and evil of sentient beings.

The Tibetan commentaries say that this is in consideration of the meaning of combining the three, internal, external, and other, below. Thus, the places for meditating on the four aspects of exhaustion and emptiness, which are the four formless realms of existence, are located above the world of the form realm. Internally, the body extends from the crown of the head to the hairline. Below that, the pair of Brahma's kalpas, which are the four with duality: Akanistha, Sudarshana, Atapa, and Avriha. These four are the places for meditating on the four aspects of exhausting wind, located four fingers' width on the forehead of the body. Here, Sudarshana is mentioned, and in the chapter on wisdom, what is said as "vast appearance" is the same place as these two, so there are sixteen places in the form realm. These four are the places of the initial four dhyanas. Below that, what is called the kalpa beyond the Brahma world, which is counted sequentially downwards from the lower three places of the fourth dhyana: Brihatphala, Punyaprabhava, Anabhraka, and Vriddhadeva, these four are the places for meditating on the four aspects of exhausting fire, and internally they are located four fingers' width at the position of the nose. Similarly, what is called the glorious kalpa: Apramanabhasa, Parittabhasa, Abhasvara, and Apramanabha, these four are the places for meditating on the four aspects of exhausting water, internally located on the body, four fingers' width at the throat below the nose. Below that, the four of the white kalpa are: Parittasubha, Subhakritsna, Brihatphala, and Brahmakayika, which are also the same, are the places for meditating on the four aspects of exhausting earth, and on the body they are located six fingers' width at the throat, with the throat and crossing in a manner of four fingers. Thus, through the power of discipline and the samadhi of meditating on exhausting wind and so on, the sixteen places of the form realm, such as Akanistha, are manifested. Their lifespans are to be understood sequentially from the intermediate kalpa or sixteen intermediate kalpas of Akanistha to the lifespan of one kalpa of Brahmakayika. Below that, from the place of Atiyasha or Paranirmita-vasavartin to hell, are the eleven places located in the desire realm. Which ones? Paranirmita-vasavartin, Nirmanarati, Tushita, Yama, Trayastrimsha, and the four great kings, these six are the desire realm gods. Their lifespans are
