They think it has the same meaning and explain it as real trees. Some say that the Mimamsa tree is a horse-headed tree, and others say that when trees are eaten by insects, etc., the beings of the Nirjara hell feel their bodies appearing in that tree and experience suffering, as stated in the sutras. Various statements like these have appeared, but there have been no other statements besides these. Although it is said in the chapter on sadhana that most of the stable things like trees grow from the earth, it is not said that they are "earth-born transformations," so this is a great error of not distinguishing between them. The Mimamsa horse-headed ones are not necessarily classified as animals just because they have horse heads, because they are a type of deity belonging to the retinue of the Four Great Kings. The Nirjara hell is not born as the essence of trees, but is a reversed manifestation of karma, so there is no meaning of animal transformation, and it must be included in the hell realm. Some also say that in the Chami translation, lice and other transformed beings are animals and have earth as their place of birth. Although there is no name for trees, it also appears similarly in the translation of Shudke Drakpa Gyaltsen, so it is identified as lice. According to the view that lice have four places of birth, it can also be said that the transformed lice are the place of birth of the earth. According to what you said, there is no contradiction that lice have transformation. According to this Chinese translation, the animals that are transformed in trees, etc., are born from the earth. Although there is no explicit mention of the place of dependence, it is thought to be good to understand it from the meaning when explaining the place of birth of animals. In general, it is well known that there are many transformations of animals. As stated in the Abhidharmakosha, etc., when splitting open a burning iron block, beings are seen to exist, so due to the karmic appearance of beings, all animals that are transformed in stable realms such as stones and trees are said to be the place of birth of the earth realm. Other transformed deities, etc., are said to be the place of birth of the sky realm, and no contradiction is seen. Or, if it can be determined that "trees" is the name of a particular animal transformation, then that's it. Otherwise, what if it is understood as real trees?

It is not right. The so-called "various earths" is because it is both earth and various, so on the various earths, it is the nature of the seven continents inside, and outside it is the nature of the twelve continents. In the commentary, it says that "earth" is a word of scripture, although its Sanskrit word should be a long "Mahi (Tibetan transliteration)", but here a short one is used, meaning this word of scripture. Below the earth are the rule of the dragons and the seven rules of hell. That is to say, on the various earths there are people, and below the various earths there are also the rules of hell. Thus, it truly arises in the center of emptiness, just as water and sunlight combine, the water is moist, and the fine dust of the salt element gathers together to form hard salt, the solid container world arises in this way. Also, like the fine dust of melted semen in the center of an egg, maturing into a body with parts such as face and feet, like an egg-born, one should know the way the bodies of moving sentient beings arise. The reason for the origin of this world will be explained in detail in the fifth chapter. 4. Second, explaining separately, the body of the Vajra Mantra shows the principle of the ten existences arising and gathering, and from the indestructible life of the self, the principle of the stars and other existences arising in order. And through the letters of the vowels and consonants of skillful means and wisdom, showing the way time and existence arise, the first of these three, with one verse, summarizes and shows the body and wisdom, etc. Body or body refers to the moon that is free from obscuration, and wisdom refers to the sun that is free from obscuration. Space refers to the space realm that is free from obscuration, and similarly, the nature of the five elements of wind, fire, water, earth, the solid Mount Sumeru and the moving nature of the six elements of sentient beings are free from obscuration. Deva refers to that which does not produce what is seen, but only has the arrogance of distinguishing formless existence, which is the four such as the infinite space realm. Like this, the Tathagata said that the ten existences of the Vajra wisdom such as the body, from the body of the Vajra, the birthplace of mantras, bindu, etc. will arise. That is to say, the reason for the origin of the birthplace of mantras is that bindu arises from the moon, and various things arise from the sun.
