Attachment to the pleasure of near conduct, because the meaning of other profound tantras is not seen, there is doubt as to whether other great tantras are the words of the Buddha, and those who accuse the untrue with false lies, those who hold prejudice against their own and others' tenets, will commit the sixth of the root downfalls. The Buddha said that those who abandon the Dharma will go to Avici hell. Third, the perfect retinue is: The gods connected with the letter "པ་" at the end of the above sentence are indicated by the seven letters of "to bow" (Tibetan: བཏུད་ལ་). In that great mandala of the Vajra realm, deities, such as Buddhas like Akshobhya, Bodhisattvas like Samantabhadra, Wrathful Kings like Ushnishachakra, gods like Ishvara, Nagas like Ananta, and their consorts, from Vajradhatvishvari to Tummo, in this way, the assembly of gods and goddesses in the mandala, all bowed to the lotus feet of the main deity, and the three realms paid homage to his lotus feet, he is the great Chakravartin of the Dharma of the three realms, the supreme primordial Buddha, the Bhagavan Kalachakra without lineage. The perfection of time is indirectly indicated, thus the perfect gathering of teacher and retinue, the time for speaking the king of tantras is on the dark moon's new moon. Second, the initiation of the discourse, divided into the questioner and the Dharma being asked. First, the lord of the retinue initiates the discourse, which is the abiding of the nature of the petitioner. King Suchandra, with his head bowed, hands joined like a lotus, placed on the top of his head, then asked. This is indicated by twenty-eight letters. The king of Shambhala, an emanation of Vajrapani, named Suchandra, bowing his head to the lotus feet of the Bhagavan, prostrating with extreme reverence, hands joined like a lotus, placed on the top of his head, then asked. Here, some of inferior intelligence might think: All the tantras of the Vajrayana are questioned and compiled by Vajrapani, but here, the lord of the city of Kalapa in the land of Shambhala, is the goddess of the sun's rays, that is, the Joyful Mother, etc.

If someone asks, isn't there a contradiction between the one born from the queen's womb, named Zla-ba-bzang-po (ཟླ་བ་བཟང་པོ), and the one who makes supplications? In response, according to the meaning stated in the Great Commentary ('grel chen), in this Mantra Vehicle, being born from the womb does not mean that one cannot become a supplicator. If that were the case, how could the Buddha, the Bhagavan, himself, who was born from the womb of the Shakya king Zhas-gtsang and the goddess Maya, become a teacher? He previously subdued the demons, attained enlightenment, became the all-knowing Dharma teacher, and after Nirvana, he does not enter the womb again. If someone says this, it is contradictory and therefore cannot be used as an argument here. Apart from the Buddha, the Bhagavan himself, no one in the world of gods and humans can subdue the demons. Moreover, at the time of becoming a Buddha, all obscurations have been removed, so there are no demons. When there are demons, the mind is bound by obscurations, so it is not a Buddha. Therefore, becoming a Buddha and subduing demons cannot happen simultaneously, because when one exists, the other does not. In this karmic realm, apart from the Buddha, the Bhagavan, others born from a woman's womb do not possess the thirty-two major marks, the eighty minor marks, the thirty-two coiled white hairs, and the six superknowledges. Therefore, the so-called "demon" refers to the defilements of the habitual imprints of the minds of sentient beings in samsara. The so-called "Buddha" refers to the mind that is free from the habitual imprints of samsara. Thus, the Bhagavan said in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, "Whatever mind exists, that mind is not mind," meaning that it is naturally luminous, which is the mind that is free from the habitual imprints of samsara. Therefore, a demon is a mind with defilements, and a Buddha is a mind without defilements. Here, the Buddha's subduing of external demons is like a dream, an appearance of sentient beings' own minds. The true meaning of the Tathagatagarbha will be explained in detail in the fifth chapter. Here, the entry of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas into samsara for the benefit of sentient beings cannot be understood by those in samsara, because...
