Whose are the two tongues? It is the demon of strife between husband and wife. Outwardly, it resembles a mottled magpie; inwardly, it resembles an ant nest. Greed is like a male goat. This is the guardian mountain deity of Ngam, named Dpung Khra. When it comes among a hundred people, a hundred people will cover their ears with their hands. People say the corpses of a hundred people turned into butter. When it comes among a hundred horses, a hundred horses will look sideways, their faces filled with fear. People say the corpses of a hundred horses turned into butter. When it comes among a hundred sheep, a hundred sheep will look sideways, startled and frightened. People say the corpses of a hundred sheep turned into butter. Even if sweet words are spoken, it is the source of quarrels. Even if soft clothes are worn, they will be roughened by thorns. Even if a step is taken forward, it will retreat backward. This hostile, red-eyed daughter rides a red-nosed donkey. She carries a bag of saltpeter on her back, wears copper hair ornaments on her head, spreads a cushion of nine-eyed agate, leads an iron monkey's bridle outside, Ste Lo Gwa Ma follows behind, and hangs a bag of hailstones on her chest. She goes up to the land of Ye and asks Ye. She says, "Who is your skylight man?" Ye replies, "It is my son, Gung Khang." She asks, "Where is he now?" Ye points to the distant mountain, and her eyes look at the lake, knowing that Gung Khang is in the lake. The deluder, Ngam Za Dmar Mo, goes to the shore of the sacred lake and sings this song: "Ye's son, Gung Khang, arise! There is a wonderful sight. At the border between Ye and Ngam, there is a wonderful woman riding a wonderful wild animal. Please go and see that sight." Ye's son, Gung Khang, hearing these words, becomes infatuated. Gung Khang is the bewitched goddess, the lie of Ngam Za Dmar Mo. This is a woman who promises to blow out everything with fire, a fast-footed woman who promises to take away everything with water, a woman who seeks people on the night of the fifteenth, a woman who steals on the twenty-ninth. She drives away the horse of Pha Khu who goes upward, and drives away the female yak of Ma Su who goes downward. Below, she is the messenger who delivers bad news; in the middle, she is an accomplice of thieves; above, she is the one who causes great wars. Wherever she lands, she is a Wer Ma full of noise and chaos. When she descends on a person, that person becomes like a mute. No matter where she is placed, she brings bad luck; but for the witch who sacrifices with a new dog, she is good. She fills the whole valley with noise and chaos. When robbers plunder merchants, she rejoices.
