Etc. are said, and in other sutras it is also said that seeing a lotus flower in a dream will accomplish meaning. In the Tharpa Sutra, the dream sign of purifying sins is going over a bridge when wanting to cross a great river, others bathing oneself, rain falling on the body, etc. are all signs of purification, entering and sitting in the ranks of many Sangha members, oneself entering a stupa or temple and seeing the images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are symbols of following the Buddha and the Dharma, and dreaming of finding and eating fruit oneself indicates that the fruit of merit will be accomplished in this life. Dreaming one such dream will purify one of the five heinous crimes, and dreaming five will purify all five. Furthermore, one should understand it as in the dream chapter of the Ratnakuta Sutra, etc. At the time of death, the various death practices of the Bodhisattvas, such as the eleven perceptions mentioned in the sutras, are all summarized in what is said in the Noble One's 'Wisdom of Passing Away'. Therefore, when a Bodhisattva is about to die, he should meditate on the 'Wisdom of Passing Away'. When thinking about where one will die, one should visualize the Lama, the King of Sages, on the crown of one's head and generate strong faith. Then, one should think like this: not only am I alone, but all sentient beings cannot transcend the law of death. In samsara, I and others have experienced countless births and deaths again and again, but there is no other meaning than experiencing the suffering of death. This death must be made meaningful. Thinking like this, like this, all compounded dharmas, including external and internal, past, present and future, are all impermanent for even a moment, arising and ceasing, there is nothing that does not have the nature of Dharma. There are compounded things that cease quickly, like bubbles and lightning, etc. There are also things that last for a long time, like the world. But whether long or short, there is no compounded thing that does not eventually cease. Because all container and content worlds will be destroyed, and the Tathagata also shows the way of Nirvana, what need is there to mention someone like me? Therefore,

The Sugata thus declared that all compounded things are impermanent. However, because they do not understand the nature of such compounded things, sentient beings do not like separation and death, and they like assembly and birth. Although they are attached to samsara and repeatedly revolve in it, I will now take this death that has befallen me as a virtuous friend, and from the bottom of my heart, I will know that all compounded things are impermanent. I will make a firm decision. Just as I think intently at the time of death, in all my lifetimes until the essence of enlightenment, may I see all compounded things as impermanent and not be attached to the realm of compounded things. May it be so, I pray that the Lama, the King of Sages, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will bless me. I thought like that. Then, as it is said: In the Mahayana Sutra called "Arya Entering into Undifferentiated Wisdom," it says: "Since all phenomena are completely pure in nature, meditate on the concept of no thing. Since you are fully endowed with the mind of enlightenment, meditate on the concept of great compassion. Since the nature is invisible and clear light, meditate on not being attached to anything. The mind is the cause of the arising of wisdom, do not seek the Buddha elsewhere." As it is said, first, taking one's own death as an example, to the extent of the sky, like this, taking the impermanence of compounded things as permanence, and taking the suffering of samsara as happiness, aiming at all sentient beings who die and transmigrate in samsara and endlessly experience various sufferings, generate a mind of great compassion. In order to liberate all of them from the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and to place them in the unexcelled and perfect enlightenment, may I become the protector of the three realms, the Buddha Bhagavan, and may all sentient beings be liberated from all suffering. In this way, one should meditate on the concept of compassion endowed with the mind of enlightenment. Likewise, all phenomena represented by this death, although they are the nature of emptiness when examined, they cause happiness and suffering, benefit and harm, only by the power of one's own conceptual imputation. In reality, there is no such thing as death and suffering. One should decide that all phenomena are without substance and think like that. Likewise, all these phenomena such as death
