Engaging in the yoga of recollecting the deity, just as the treasury of blessings bestowed by the Buddhas: I take refuge in the Supreme Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha until enlightenment is attained. By the merit of meditation, recitation, and practice, may I achieve Buddhahood for the benefit of all beings. Thus, establishing the intention of bodhicitta with clarity and firm commitment, I declare the vow three times. Then, meditating upon the four pure abodes, I enter into the union of emptiness and dependent origination, like an illusory appearance. Ah! Arising the view of unborn emptiness and so forth, in accordance with the yoga ritual, the visualization is made clear. With firm faith and aspiration that the Buddha truly abides, diligence and devotion are aroused. In this way, the Bodhisattvas skilled in means accomplish in a single instant of mind what would otherwise take many aeons: the essence of accumulation, purification, and enhancement—summarized in the seven branches such as prostration. To ensure the fruit is never lost, I make supplication and dedication with confidence in the Buddha, in accordance with the scriptures. Then, with one-pointed devotion, I bow to the Buddha, offering even with the particles of my body, all offerings. Until supreme enlightenment is attained, I and all beings take refuge with resolute intent. With this sincerity, I proclaim the immeasurable names of the Teacher, the Tathāgata, and others. Finally, through the recitation of dhāraṇīs, the mindstream of the Tathāgata is stirred, and from the Buddha’s body light rays radiate, pervading the sky, merging with myself and all beings, purifying all obscurations and sufferings, and establishing happiness. Faith, dhāraṇī, samādhi, courage, wisdom, and prajñā—all the qualities of the Mahāyāna path—arise in accordance, leading to the irreversible stage, and finally attaining unsurpassed great enlightenment, becoming one endowed with vast merit. Thus, the dhāraṇīs are recited. This is from the eleventh chapter of the 'Array of Supreme Dharmas,' the 'All-Illuminating Light' chapter. Now, by the inconceivable causes of virtuous deeds, ignorance is utterly abandoned, and the manifold rays of light are accomplished.

“Thus it is.” In this way, by the power of effortless sovereignty, infinite rays of colored light are manifested, whereby all beings with faith obtain according to their wish, and all beings with hopes are fulfilled. Further, from a single ray of light, arising in two hues, countless rays extend immeasurably, manifesting many forms: clouds of pure brilliance, purified vision, purified hearing, purified mind; likewise, purified forms of dharmas, between earth and sky, aggregates and truths, courage and virtues; further adorned by white, yellow and other colors, supreme qualities, the majesty of nāgas, the majesty of elephants, the vast majesty of lions, the great offerings of nāgas, the subduing of nāgas, the taming of harmful spirits, the power of vajra, the nature of emptiness, and the growth of all primordial virtues separately. This light is called “Light of Dharma-Nature,” which stirs the Buddha-fields; it is also called “Subduing Demons Light,” which terrifies demons; it is also called “Banner of Merit Light,” and holding its name dispels harm; it is also called “Banner of Strength Light,” and holding its name defeats enemies; it is also called “Banner of Serenity Light,” and holding its name abandons desire. Whoever upholds its name, even merely, will abandon all wrong conduct and faults such as heedlessness; merely by holding its name, one perfects discipline, meditation, and so forth; ignorance and afflictions are removed; thus happiness is gained, sorrow ceases, discursiveness is transcended, knowledge of the three times is attained, and virtues increase. Further, there are “Immortal Light” and others, each encircled by eighty thousand blood wheels, and such diverse lights, being distinct manifestations of the Tathāgata, surpassing the number of dust motes in Buddha-fields, vast and immeasurable, ripen all sentient beings and completely fulfill their wishes. Moreover, it is said: within the Bodhisattva Piṭaka, the Buddhas’ lights are boundless; the net of rays is inconceivable; the Buddha-lands are oceanic without limit, pervading all directions. And furthermore, there are countless Buddhas of vast greatness, and sacred stupas, and so forth...
