པ་དེ་ལ་བུད་མེད་རྣམས་སྐྱེས་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་ཚུལ་ཅི་ཞེས་ཞུས་པ་ལ། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ཏོག་ཅེས་བྱ་བའི་གཟུངས་ཕན་ཡོན་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པས། དེ་ཐོས་པའི་བུད་མེད་ཐམས་ཅད་སྐྱེས་པའི་དབང་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུད་པ་ལའི་གདོང་གིས་བུ་ཐུ་བོ་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོར་དབང་བསྐུར་ཏེ། བདག་ཉིད་དང་བུ་སྟོང་དུ་གཅིག་གིས་མ་ཚང་བ་དང་། བཙུན་མོ་ལྷ་མཛེས་སོགས་སྐྱེས་བུར་གྱུར་པ་བརྒྱད་ཁྲི་བཞི་སྟོང་དང་། གཞན་ཡང་སྲོག་ཆགས་དགུ་ཁྲི་ཉིས་སྟོང་དང་བཅས་པ་ཁྱིམ་ནས་བྱུང་སྟེ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དེའི་ཐད་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་ཚུལ་བཞིན་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེར་སྲོག་ཆགས་བྱེ་བ་མང་པོས་ཅི་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་སྙམ་ནས་ཕན་ཚུན་དུ་སྨྲས་པ། དགེ་སྦྱོང་འདི་ནི་བདུད་ཀྱི་ལས་ལ་བརྩོན་པ་སྟེ། གཡོ་ཅན་སྒྱུ་མ་ བདུད་ཀྱི་ལས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཆོས་བསྟན་ནས་ལ་ལ་ཕོ་མཚན་མེད་པར་བྱས། ལ་ལ་མོ་མཚན་མེད་པར་བྱས། ལ་ལ་སྐྲ་དང་ཁ་སྤུ་བྲེགས། ལ་ལ་ནི་གོས་ཚོན་ཅན་བསྐོན་པ་སོགས་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལྷ་དང་མི་དང་ངན་སོང་གསུམ་དུ་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་། ལ་ལར་འཆི་འཕོ་བ་དང་སྐྱེ་བ་མེད་པར་ཡང་ཆོས་སྟོན་ཏེ། བུད་མེད་སྒྱུར་བའི་སྒྱུ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གི་གཟུགས་ཀྱིས་བསླུ་བའི་འདིའི་རྟགས་ཙམ་ཡང་མི་མཐོང་ལ། དེའི་ཚིགས་ཀྱང་མི་ཐོས་པར་འདེང་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ཤིང་། དེ་ན་ཤོར་བ་གཞོན་ནུའི་ཚུལ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཞིག་ཡོད་པས་དེས་ཀྱང་ཁོ་བོའི་ཆུང་མ་དང་གཡོག་མོ་དང་བུ་མོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་དགེ་སྦྱོང་མ་རུངས་པ་འདིས་སྐྱེས་པའི་དབང་པོར་བསྒྱུར་ཞིང་སྐྲ་བྲེགས་ཏེ་གོས་ཚོན་ཅན་བསྐོན་ནས་བདག་གཅིག་པུར་མྱ་ངན་གྱིས་ནོན་པས་བདག་ཅག་འདེང་ལ་དགེ་སྦྱོང་དེའི་སྒྲ་ཙམ་ཡང་མི་ཐོས་པའི་རི་བྲག་ཉམས་དགའ་བར་འདོང་ངོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་ལྟར། སྲོག་ཆགས་ཁྲག་ཁྲིག་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་མང་པོ་ཡང་ལྷན་ཅིག་དོང་ནས་མཐའ་འཁོབ་ཀྱི་རི་ཁྲོད་ཉམས་དགའ་བར་དྲང་སྲོང་གི་ཆ་བྱད་ཀྱིས་འཁོར་དེ་གང་ཐར་པ་དང་ལས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་སྨིན་མེད་པ་ཆད་པར་སྨྲ་བའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་བདུད་ཀྱི་ལས་ལ་བརྩོན་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་གིས། དེ་བལྟ་བ་དང་དེའི་ཆོས་ཉན་པ་ནི་སེམས་གཡེངས་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེ་དག་མགོ་བྲེགས་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་སློང་མོའི་ཟས་ཟ་ཞིང་ཡིད་འབྱུང་བར་བྱེད་ཅིང་དབེན་པར་དགའ་བ་དང་། འདོད་པའི་དགའ་བ་སྤོང་བའི་ཟོལ་གྱིས་ཆད་པར་སྨྲ་བའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དགྲར་གྱུར་པ་དེའི་བྱེ

彼时，有妇女请问世尊：“何因缘妇女能转为男子？” 世尊告曰：“有陀罗尼名宝髻，具大威神力，若有女人闻此陀罗尼，皆得丈夫之身。” 时邬波罗面王，以其长子灌顶为转轮圣王。王自念言：“我与千子，尚缺其一。又妃嫔八万四千，如妙天等，皆转为男子。” 复有九万二千众生，俱舍家出家，诣如来所，精进修持。尔时无数百千万亿众生，咸作是言：“何因缘转轮圣王出家耶？此沙门乃是魔业，是诳惑之法，以幻术惑乱众生。或令男子变为女人，或令女人变为男子。或复剃除须发，身着染色之衣。或说天人及三恶道生死之事，或说无有生死。此沙门以幻术变易妇女，以沙门之相，诳惑于我等，我等且勿见其形，勿闻其声。” 时有失意青年，名曰少护，亦作是言：“我之妻妾、婢女、及诸女眷，皆被此恶沙门变为男子，剃除须发，身着染色之衣，唯我一人独受忧恼。我等且避之，当往深山幽谷，不闻此沙门之声。” 如是百千万亿众生，一时舍离，往诣边地幽静之处。彼外道徒众，皆是断见，无有解脱及业果。彼等咸作是言：“今有沙门，勤行魔业，见者心乱，闻者意迷。彼等剃除须发，出家为道，乞食自活，厌离世间，乐于寂静，舍弃欲乐，假名沙门，实是众生之怨敌。”

Then, some women asked the Blessed One, "What is the cause and condition for women to be transformed into men?" The Blessed One replied, "There is a Dharani called 'Jewel Crest,' which possesses great power and divine strength. If any woman hears this Dharani, she will attain the body of a man." At that time, King Udapala-face enthroned his eldest son as a Universal Monarch. The king thought to himself, "I and my thousand sons still lack one. Moreover, the eighty-four thousand consorts, such as the celestial beauty, have all been transformed into men." Furthermore, ninety-two thousand beings left their homes together and went to the Tathagata, diligently practicing. At that time, countless hundreds of thousands of millions of beings all said, "What is the cause and condition for the Universal Monarch to renounce the world? This Shramana is engaged in the work of Mara, it is a deceptive Dharma, using illusions to confuse beings. Sometimes he causes men to become women, and sometimes he causes women to become men. Sometimes he shaves off hair and beards, and wears dyed clothes. Sometimes he speaks of the affairs of gods, humans, and the three evil realms of Samsara, and sometimes he says there is no birth and death. This Shramana uses illusions to transform women, and with the appearance of a Shramana, he deceives us. Let us not see his form, nor hear his voice." At that time, a frustrated youth named Little Protection also said, "My wives, concubines, maids, and all female relatives have been transformed into men by this evil Shramana, who shaved their hair and beards and dressed them in dyed clothes, leaving only me to suffer alone. Let us avoid him and go to the deep mountains and secluded valleys, where we will not hear the voice of this Shramana." Thus, hundreds of thousands of millions of beings left together and went to remote and quiet places. Those heretical followers were all nihilists, without liberation or karmic consequences. They all said, "Now there is a Shramana who diligently engages in the work of Mara, whose sight disturbs the mind, and whose hearing confuses the intellect. They shave their hair and beards, renounce the world to practice the Dharma, beg for food to live, are disgusted with the world, delight in solitude, abandon the pleasures of desire, falsely claiming to be Shramanas, but are actually enemies of sentient beings."
