When I said, "Please offer me the path of the ten virtues and the mind of the three vehicles," I transformed into a dragon seven times in this way. During seventy-seven billion years, I showed and gave countless treasures, placing immeasurable sentient beings in the three vehicles and virtue. I made aspirations to attain the unsurpassed thirty-two marks. Similarly, starting from the second continent, I performed such deeds of a man in all the continents of that world. Similarly, in the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, filled with the five degenerations, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, in each continent, as mentioned before, I took the birth of a dragon seven times, and for the same number of years as before, I showed immeasurable treasures, thus benefiting sentient beings. The Tathagata, with great strength and diligence, practiced the conduct of Bodhi in search of the thirty-two marks. Such practices, which other Bodhisattvas had not practiced except for the eight noble men mentioned earlier, were all practiced. Again, at that time, after countless eons had passed, in an evil time, a great eon called Utpala occurred. When this Buddha-field, called the place where coral appears, became filled with the five degenerations. In the fourth continent, I became known as Hundredfold Giver of Good Deeds. At that time, seeing that the people of Jambudvipa were engaging in non-virtue, I transformed into an extremely terrifying Yaksha form, descended to Jambudvipa, and sat in front of the people. Those people, seeing me, were terrified and asked, "What do you need? We will offer it to you." I said, "I need food." They asked, "What kind of food do you need?" I said, "I kill and eat people. I do not eat those who, until the end of their lives, abstain from killing, etc., and those who abandon even wrong views, and those who generate the mind in the three vehicles." Then, when I transformed and ate sentient beings, those sentient beings, seeing this, were terrified and abandoned the ten non-virtuous actions until the end of their lives. Thus, by the remaining force of my actions of threatening beings and placing them in virtuous deeds, when I was sitting on the vajra seat under the Bodhi tree, the evil Mara, along with his army, came to turn me away from Bodhi. Son of good family, when I was practicing the conduct of Bodhi, the brief summary of obtaining the perfection of generosity is as follows: At that time, I also obtained profound patience, dharanis, samadhi, and the five mundane superknowledges, and I matured immeasurable beings in the three vehicles. I made offerings to countless Buddhas, and from each Buddha, I received qualities as numerous as drops of water in the ocean. Furthermore, I also made offerings to countless Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, parents, and sages endowed with superknowledges. In the past, I satisfied beings with my own flesh and blood, and now I satisfy them with the Dharma. Just as I, with the eye of a Buddha, saw Buddhas, Bhagavat, as numerous as the dust particles of the Buddha-fields in the ten directions who had passed into complete nirvana, those Buddhas were also first placed by me in unsurpassed Bodhi, placed in the six perfections, and I explained them in detail. Similarly, now in each of the ten directions, there are also countless immeasurable Buddhas living and teaching the Dharma, those Buddhas were also placed by me in Bodhi. In the east, in the world called Lotus Everywhere Blossoming, there is a Tathagata named Immaculate Glory Virtue King, in the Land of Bliss (Sukhavati) there is the Immovable Tathagata (Akshobhya), in the Jambudvipa River there is the Sun Essence Tathagata, and so on, countless immeasurable Tathagatas live and teach the Dharma, those Tathagatas were also first placed by me in Bodhi, placed in the perfections, and received predictions. That Buddha, with one form and color, can also listen to the Dharma with various forms and colors, as well as the forms and sounds of Brahma, Mara, Ishvara, etc., whatever they like."
