As many realms as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River appeared, and all the abodes of the demons blazed, causing the demon army to be greatly discouraged. The great demon army was extremely terrifying, covering eighty-four thousand yojanas, and they attacked the Bhagavan. All the weapons turned into showers of flowers, and all the sounds turned into the sounds of the Buddhas, and so forth. The sinful demon was bound by five lassos and fell in the courtyard. Then, the Bhagavan, with a heart of loving-kindness, spoke to Vajrapani: "Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, lift this sinful demon from this courtyard and place him on a cushion. Show the inconceivable emanation blessings of the Vajra Liberation Great Gate Samadhi, which destroys the mandala of the demons and causes the demons and all other cruel beings to take refuge in the Three Jewels." After speaking, Vajrapani folded his palms towards the Bhagavan, praised him with verses that conformed to the ritual, and then sat on the heart essence of a jewel lotus and entered into samadhi. This world shook in six ways, and from all the limbs and minor limbs of his body, vajras blazed everywhere, spread everywhere, and the appearance of the vajra blazing as a single flame illuminated all the courtyards of the immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable Buddhas Bhagavans who are now dwelling in the ten directions. The Buddhas also proclaimed these reasons, and thus a great assembly of Bodhisattvas also came to this world. The Blessed One said, "Release this sinful demon bound by Vajrapani, take refuge in the Three Jewels, and ensure that all who do not believe in the Dharma abide in the Dharma." Vajrapani, having heard the words of the Blessed One, immediately entered the great Samadhi of the Vajra Liberation Gate, to destroy all the mandalas of the demons, the world shook in six ways. His body blazed with flames, and from all the joints of his extremely terrifying wrathful body, various terrifying wrathful clouds emerged, burning and destroying all evil forces. The sinful demons, obstacles, and evil forces, unable to bear the unbearable suffering of burning and destruction, trembled like trees shaken by a strong wind, wanting to cry but unable to, remaining motionless like a painting. Then, from the two feet of Vajrapani, two terrifying wrathful ones emerged, circumambulating the Tathagata hundreds of thousands of times, and requested Vajrapani to give instructions. The Lord of Secrets sat silently. From the center of the glorious one, a terrifying and unbearable wrathful form appeared, all its limbs blazing with the light of vajra, illuminating the entire empty world, overwhelming the splendor of others. Suppressing the light of the sun, moon, stars, and jewels, except for the light of the Tathagata and the Bodhisattvas abiding on the ten bhumis, all other light became dim. They circumambulated the Tathagata countless times and said to Vajrapani, "Son of the lineage, what do you wish to do, please give instructions." Then, Vajrapani said to those wrathful ones, "Let the sinful demons and all obstacles who do not believe in the Dharma take refuge in the Three Jewels and abide in the vows." Those wrathful ones simultaneously uttered a lion's roar, filling the entire world with their voices, reciting the basis of the secret mantra, and the world shook in six ways, with great vajra star arrows falling from all directions.

声音响起，大地崩裂的冰雹中，水流向上涌出，如同毁灭时期的大水一般，充满整个大地，地下的龙族、天神和强大的阿修罗都涌到地面上。所有鬼怪、邪魔和邪恶的引诱者的身体，以及所有魔的住所，都燃烧成一片火海，所有天神的宫殿等都变得没有光芒。所有魔的族类都看到金刚忿怒尊用金刚杵摧毁他们的头颅。他们因极度的痛苦而精疲力竭，恐惧而沮丧，邪恶的魔向如来释迦牟尼和秘密主（金刚手）顶礼，说道：请完全救护我，我直到坐在菩提树下之前，都皈依三宝。为了所有众生的利益，我发无上菩提心。当他们从内心深处这样做了之后，眷属们都感到惊奇，赞美佛陀和秘密主，并撒下鲜花。邪恶的魔也非常高兴，凭借自己的力量，出现了装饰精美、与众不同的珍宝宫殿。为了供养善知识秘密主（金刚手），他们献上了它，并用符合仪轨的偈颂赞美他。同样地，秘密主（金刚手）命令那些忿怒尊将所有凶猛的非人，如天神、龙族和夜叉等，都投入誓言的束缚中。之后，金刚手从那个禅定中起身。舍利子问金刚手那个禅定的名字。金刚手说：这个禅定不能用名字、文字和声音来理解。因为没有任何名为名相和色相等的禅定之法，而是从如实性的甚深意义出发， 从而开示了法门。如来释迦牟尼和属于十方世界的如来都将右手放在金刚手的头顶上，称赞说“好啊！好啊！”。当宣说了那个法门之后，如恒河沙数般无量无数不可思议的天子们，都获得了无垢的法眼。

Sounds arose, and from the hail of the collapsing earth, streams of water surged upwards, filling the entire earth like the waters of destruction, and the great nagas, gods, and asuras beneath the earth emerged onto the surface. The bodies of all spirits, obstacles, and evil tempters, and all the abodes of demons, were burned by a single blazing flame, and all the palaces of the gods and so forth became devoid of light. All the tribes of demons saw the great Vajra Wrathful Ones shattering their heads with vajras. Exhausted by the feeling of intense suffering, terrified and dejected, the wicked demons prostrated to the Tathagata Shakyamuni and the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani), saying: "Completely protect me! Until I sit at the Bodhi tree, I take refuge in the Three Jewels. For the sake of all sentient beings, I generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta." When they did this from the depths of their hearts, the retinue were amazed and praised the Buddha and the Lord of Secrets, and scattered flowers. The wicked demons were also exceedingly pleased, and through their own power, a precious palace adorned with extraordinary features appeared. To offer to the virtuous friend, the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani), they presented it and praised him with verses conforming to the proper form. Likewise, by the command of the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani), those Wrathful Ones bound all the fierce non-humans, such as gods, nagas, and yakshas, into the bonds of oath. Then, Vajrapani arose from that samadhi. Shariputra asked Vajrapani the name of that samadhi. Vajrapani said: "This samadhi cannot be understood by name, letters, or sounds. Because there is no dharma called samadhi that is name, form, etc., but rather it originates from the profound meaning of Suchness, thereby revealing the Dharma discourse. The Tathagata Shakyamuni and all the Tathagatas belonging to the ten directions of the world placed their right hands on the crown of Vajrapani's head and praised him, saying, 'Well done! Well done!'" After that Dharma discourse was spoken, immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable sons of the gods, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, attained the stainless Dharma eye in all dharmas.
