The extremely profound and vast one is sought by all the Tathagatas, even after passing through sixteen kalpas. The great mother of all Tathagatas also pays homage to this mantra. Holding and reciting it brings immeasurable merit. At the time of recitation, Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas as numerous as dust particles gather, and billions of Buddhas reside in each pore of that body. Son of the lineage, you have obtained it well. All sentient beings dwelling in the womb will also transform into irreversible Bodhisattvas. Thus, the words of praise, 'Excellent!' are bestowed. Gods, nagas, yakshas, and others will protect it. Whoever carries this on their body, that body will transform into a vajra body and will generate billions of Buddhas' wisdom. It perfects all qualities such as courage, wisdom, compassion, and paramitas, and quickly attains unsurpassed enlightenment. Whoever touches or sees it, all sentient beings will become Bodhisattvas in their last existence. This great mantra uproots the root of samsara and leads to liberation and omniscience. Therefore, one who strives for this should fill Jambudvipa with the seven precious jewels and offer them as a gift. If one wishes to write it and there is no ink, one should use one's own blood as ink, one's skin as paper, and one's bones as a pen to write it, because it is the guru. By reciting this, one will obtain one hundred and eight samadhis, such as the one called 'Holding the Precious Jewel.' Just remembering this mantra purifies all sins. The merit of reciting this mantra once cannot be compared. Like the number of dust particles, the number of sands in the four great oceans, and a house five hundred yojanas high and one hundred yojanas wide filled with sesame seeds, even if one takes out one seed at a time after a hundred years, one can count them all, but the accumulation of merit from reciting this mantra cannot be counted. Similarly, the number of all grains that ripen well in Jambudvipa, and the number of drops of water from eleven great rivers such as the Ganges, each with five hundred attendants, flowing into the ocean, and the deer and fawns in the mountains, etc.

The number of hairs on all beasts can be counted. The mountain king called "Vajra Hook," which is ninety-nine thousand yojanas high and eighty-four thousand yojanas below, with eighty-four thousand yojanas on each side. Even if it were wiped once with a Kashi cloth after the passing of a kalpa, it would eventually be exhausted. However, the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be counted. Similarly, the drops of the great salty ocean measured with the tip of a hair, and the drops of heavy rain that fall day and night for thirteen years or months, can be counted, but the accumulation of merit from reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be counted. All men, women, boys, and girls residing in the four continents are less than the accumulation of merit of a seventh-level Bodhisattva, and the accumulation of merit from reciting the six-syllable mantra once is even greater. Even if the Tathagata were to speak countless times in the same place for a divine kalpa, the accumulation of merit from the six-syllable mantra could not be counted, let alone if I alone were to reside in this world. Whoever causes the six-syllable mantra to be written causes the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma to be written. Om(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Ma(藏文:མ,梵文天城体:म,梵文罗马拟音:ma,汉语字面意思:嘛), Ni(藏文:ཎི,梵文天城体:णि,梵文罗马拟音:ṇi,汉语字面意思:呢), Padme(藏文:པདྨེ,梵文天城体:पद्मे,梵文罗马拟音:padme,汉语字面意思:莲花), Hum(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). The ripened fruit of making relics every day from the Tathagata's body, which is like fine dust and made of heavenly gold, is only a small amount of the ripened fruit of one syllable of the six-syllable mantra. Therefore, this is inconceivable. Whoever holds this mantra, no matter how degenerate their conduct and discipline may become, will not be defiled by all afflictions. This is the indestructible vajra vow, the vow of supreme wisdom, the essence of all things. The Tathagata Shakya King said to the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin: Son of good family, for the sake of this six-syllable mantra, I once went to worlds as numerous as fine dust and paid homage to countless billions of Buddhas, but I had never heard of it from them. In the presence of the Buddha called "Supreme Red Buddha," I shed tears. The Buddha said: Son of good family, do not weep, go to the presence of the Tathagata Padma Dam.
