While speaking, from the sons of gods of the desire and form realms, ninety-six kotis of gods obtained the Dharma Eye, which is free from dust, stainless, and completely pure. Twelve thousand sons of gods attained freedom from desire. Three million two hundred thousand sons of gods generated the mind of enlightenment. Thousands of sons of gods who had entered the Bodhisattva Vehicle obtained forbearance in the Dharma of non-arising. Countless billions of sons of gods arrived in an instant before the Blessed One Shakyamuni Buddha, prostrated, and then sat to one side, scattering heavenly flowers and burning incense as offerings, singing many heavenly songs in the sky above. At that time, there was not even a place the size of a cane's insertion in this world of the four continents that was not pervaded by the sons of gods with great majesty. So many sons of gods gathered that this world was covered with flowers up to the knees. Then, the four sons of gods, Good Wisdom, Good Boundary, Immaculate, and Possessing the Wealth of Shame, surrounded by ninety-six kotis of gods who had completely entered the Bodhisattva Vehicle, went to the place of Manjushri Kumara, Ganaba, circumambulated it seven times from outside the residence, and rained down a shower of Mandarava flowers. Those rains became a pile of flowers that stood ten yojanas high. Then, Manjushri Kumara, with such a blessing, spread a net of flowers in the sky above this great thousandfold world system, illuminating the entire great thousandfold world system with light. Coming out from his own abode and sitting on the cushion born from aspiration, the son of god Good Wisdom and all those sons of gods prostrated at his feet. Then, Manjushri Kumara thought: In the presence of the Blessed One, with whom should I explain the teachings of questions? When explaining the inconceivable bases, the profound freedom from elaboration, and the inexpressible basis of the Dharma Realm, etc., who can become a vessel? The son of god Good Wisdom is a king of the past.

Having done more than (ordinary people), having patience for the profound (Dharma), because of having unimpeded courage, thinking that he should ask questions and explain the Dharma together with this (son of the gods), he said to the son of the gods, Wisdom Increase (name): You have patience for the profound (Dharma), can you ask questions and explain the Dharma with me in front of the Blessed One? The son of the gods said: Manjushri, if you do not speak, do not express, do not write, and do not listen to sounds, then I can declare it as it is. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, if you do not listen, do not hold, do not remember, do not understand, do not show, then I can declare it. Why? Because the Bodhi of the Buddha is without letters, without mind, away from mind, expressed by name, and that name is also unmoving. The son of the gods said: Manjushri, these sons of the gods want to hear the Dharma from you, please speak the Dharma in this place. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, I do not teach the Dharma to those who want to hear and hold it. Why? Because if you are attached to me and sentient beings, you will want to hear. In this way, by declaring the Dharma of the three wheels of purity, the son of the gods, Wisdom Increase, obtained the patience of the Dharma of non-birth. After that, the son of the gods, Wisdom Increase, said to Manjushri: Please go to the Tathagata. Manjushri said: Do not use discrimination. I have already received the Tathagata. The son of the gods said: Where is the Tathagata? Manjushri said: He is in front of me. In this way, through questions and answers, realizing that the Tathagata is equal to space, is the Dharmakaya of equality, thus revealing the profound meaning of seeing the Tathagata. After that, Manjushri, the youth, manifested 32,000 square, flat, four-pillared, symmetrical, very beautiful and pleasing pavilions, each pavilion with a precious throne covered with clothes from the wish-fulfilling tree of the heavenly realm. He also manifested Bodhisattvas with thirty-two marks in each pavilion, Manjushri the youth

Those lotuses that act in the great empty world realm with the waves of Na, and those tiered houses, all went to where the Tathagata was, circumambulating the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks three times. They appeared as a circle of mandalas in the sky above, and were seated circling in all four directions. Those Bodhisattvas seated on lotuses and those Bodhisattvas seated in tiered houses all spoke in unison, saying: Immeasurable as the sands of the Ganges, You have worshipped many billions of Buddhas, Seeking the practice of supreme enlightenment, Therefore, you, the best of men, are beautiful. The Sage is completely adorned with names, The supreme body is radiant in the three realms, The guide to whom there is no self or life, And who shows beings the Dharma of the individual. The guide practices giving and morality, Patience, diligence, and likewise cultivates meditation. Your wisdom is unimpeded in the three realms, I prostrate to you who have perfected wisdom. Whoever is the lord of Dharma, worshipped by gods and men, Will bow down to the guide of the world, And will be devoted to emptiness, That person will become the guide of the world. Those Tathagatas who came before, And those guides who dwell in all directions, They always meditate on the Dharma that teaches no signs, Without self-nature or characteristics. In this nature, any sentient being, Has no object of birth or death, There is no coming, there is no going, All dharmas are like the sky. Just as a person shows an illusion, It appears but is not truly there, Likewise, the Tathagata taught that all dharmas are like illusions and dreams. If someone gives here in the world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, And whatever patience is for the emptiness of compounded things, That patience is superior to giving. With verses such as these, praising the profound meaning of self-luminous emptiness, and urging diligent practice, from that sound, twenty-two thousand beings of that retinue attained unsurpassed enlightenment.
