Etc. That which is profound is indeed liberation from the extremes of imputation and denigration. As it is said, those who have found certainty in freedom from extremes understand those things as being extremely profound. For those with objects of focus, the profound, which is free from the extremes of imputation and denigration, is immeasurable, so nothing appears that cannot be conceived by the mind. The nature of the profound has eight aspects: origination and cessation, suchness and knowable objects, knowledge and conduct, non-duality and skillful means, in these is profundity. As it is said, the meaning of this is that the Dharma is understood by those who have realized the great Madhyamaka free from extremes. How is it? In the ultimate sense, there is no origination, and in the conventional sense, there is origination. If the two were one, one would not know the other. Those who hold the two truths as contradictory do not realize that they are non-contradictory and of one meaning. Those who realize the meaning of Madhyamaka, as the supreme speech says, "What is emptiness and dependent arising is of one meaning on the Middle Way," realize that they are non-contradictory and realize the sphere of Dharma free from extremes, this is the first profundity. Similarly, connecting cessation with non-cessation is the second. Although one cultivates suchness with wisdom, one does not manifest it when it is not the time for skillful means. Profundity is in the suchness of the union of skillful means and wisdom. In the ultimate sense, there is nothing to be accomplished as in freedom from elaboration, but in the conventional sense, one accomplishes generosity and so on. Realizing that the two are non-contradictory is profundity in the knowable. Although there is nothing to be seen or focused on in that very reality, seeing in the absence of focus is said to be supreme. Realizing this as one meaning is profundity in knowledge. Similarly, profundity is in the conduct of non-conduct in that way. In the ultimate sense, there are no two, the object to be accomplished and the accomplisher, but in the conventional sense, one accomplishes all paths. Realizing that the two are non-contradictory is profundity in non-duality. In the ultimate sense, there is nothing to be attained as an object of focus, but in the conventional sense, by being skilled in means, one perfects the two accumulations and attains Buddhahood. The wisdom that realizes that the two are non-contradictory and of one meaning is profundity in skillful means. These are held as such by those of the great Madhyamaka free from extremes, but although others make this a place of contention, they cannot harm those with profound wisdom in any way. The meanings of the countless scriptures such as "exhaustion of defilements and non-arising" and "correct view of reality" are also like that.

Namo! Although they speak of omniscience and so on, how would they know the difference between the basis and so on? Because they do not understand the unconditioned, it has become as they say. After carefully considering how the appearance of the mind with an object as its focus is perfected, it is known that the appearance of the unconditioned itself is perfected by the power of the very nature of being without extremes and without an object of focus. Also, in the debate text, in the "Entering the Middle Way": "The non-dual wisdom and, wisdom is also superior," and "That is the vessel that closely, shows that," and "Without grasping, it also exists, one should not say that. As it has grown, it is called Buddha," and "The wise understand emptiness," and "This selflessness is for, the liberation of beings," etc. Although the various distinctions of emptiness are explained in detail, how can you explain emptiness? Although this is heard extensively, others will not understand it. If you say so, then you should also say that you yourself will not understand it. May all beings in the world realize that and go to the place of enlightenment! Although I would like to temporarily put aside the thought of not being interested in becoming a Buddha, if there is something to realize, then one should say that one hopes to realize it. Said: Pure doctrine immeasurable is the abode of the gods, In the mandala of auspicious immortality's play, Evil opponents, sons of Danu, make hundreds of efforts, To destroy the drawings of conceptual thought, now painted. Pure vision, various objects of the realm, When a lotus seed is sown in the sky, A thousand rays of light from the treasure of knowledge illuminate it, And the lotus of discerning wisdom smiles and speaks. Mount Kailash (Gang Rinpoche) piled high with vast scriptures, The power of discernment shaking the captivating force, With the dance of logic's magic, Enjoying the feast of killing evil wild animals. Impartial Gatherings of scholars and accomplished sky-goers, Displayed here in this festival of carefree play, Extend your subtle taste buds of wisdom here, Sing the songs of the flourishing debate festival. This is a verse of delightful experience. Thus it is said. With what was said above, there is no need to show even a particle of response to what was said at this time, because it has become self-extinguished and self-liberated in the realm of the great emptiness beyond extremes, so there is no need for any effort.
