愿成就至高之果位，愿祈愿之果实具有意义。我等生生世世以文殊菩萨之足，顶戴于头，行于胜者之自道。愿见行一致，成为法友，成办弘扬佛法和利益众生之大事。如是说了中间的吉祥偈颂。 再次是总结当下意义的偈颂：如今正值佛法衰微之时，对于深广经论之难点，以如理之理智进行辨析的诸位，以恭敬之心，讲述这些增长智慧之语。愿此不被嗔恨、先入为主之恶念所玷污，为增长理性之善道而书写，不成为生起贪嗔之因，而成为增长智慧之缘。愿无宗派之分的胜者佛法兴盛，愿危害佛法之黑方野蛮人等，连名字都不存在而平息，一切众生，享用安乐、具法之光辉。愿诸佛子勇士所行之唯一道，远离常断二边之甚深中观之义，宣说之狮子充满大地，佛法之光明遍布虚空。拥有如红黄初升朝阳般青春年华，心中给予无与伦比安乐之青年身姿，以忆念遣除心中黑暗者，愿彼带来吉祥之白昼。诸佛胜者与大菩萨们，以及天神、仙人、持明成就之众，愿一切以真实语、狮子之音声，一同降下吉祥之花雨。如是，此乃对于辩论之简略回答，以理路明晰甚深之义的真如实相显现。虽欲对辩论等此类事情保持中立，但近日噶托司徒仁波切和果洛（今青海省果洛藏族自治州）灵波仁波切二位为主的诸多有志之士，强烈要求撰写此答辩，无法推辞。故生于阿坝（今四川省阿坝藏族羌族自治州）藏族康巴人后裔之嘉族，列于宁玛派末座之论师，麦彭蒋扬南嘉，或以学问之名而称作文殊喜悦之光辉者。

May the supreme state of attainment be accomplished, and may the fruit of aspiration be meaningful. May we, in all our lives, hold the feet of Manjushri upon our heads, and walk on the path of the Victorious Ones. May we have harmonious views and conduct, become Dharma friends, and accomplish the great deeds of upholding the teachings and benefiting beings. Thus, the intermediate verses of auspiciousness were spoken. Furthermore, here are verses summarizing the present meaning: Now, in these times when the light of the Buddha's teachings is dim, may these words of increasing wisdom, spoken with respect to those who thoroughly examine the difficult points of the profound and vast scriptures with proper reasoning, not be defiled by hatred or negative preconceptions. May this writing, done for the sake of increasing the good path of reason, not become a cause for generating attachment and aversion, but become a cause for increasing the light of intelligence. May the non-sectarian teachings of the Victorious Ones flourish, and may the black forces of barbarians and others who harm the teachings be pacified without even a name, and may all beings enjoy happiness, virtue, and glory. May the single path traversed by the heroic sons of the Victorious Ones, the profound meaning of the Middle Way free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation, be filled throughout the great earth by the lion of speech, and may the light of the Buddha's teachings spread throughout the sky. May the youthful form, with the freshness of the red and yellow rising sun, who gives incomparable bliss to the heart, who dispels the darkness of the mind with remembrance, bring forth a day of auspiciousness. May all the supreme Victorious Ones and great Bodhisattvas, as well as the gods, sages, vidyadharas, and accomplished beings, together with the true words and the lion's roar, shower down a rain of auspicious flowers. Thus, this is a brief answer to the debate, which illuminates the suchness of the profound meaning with clear reasoning. Although I wished to remain neutral regarding debates and such matters, recently, many earnest individuals, led by Kathok Situ Rinpoche and Golok Ling Rinpoche, strongly urged me to write this response, and I could not refuse. Therefore, I, Mipham Jamyang Namgyal, born into the Jya clan, a branch of the Druchu Khampa lineage, and a logician who stands at the end of the ranks of the Nyingma teachings, or one who is known by the scholarly name Jampal Gyepai Rangdrang (Mañjuśrī's Delightful Radiance).

Named "The Smiling Gesar of the Ocean-Born," it was started on the fifth red-side day of the Saga month when the beautiful Water Rabbit year of the fifteenth Rabjung cycle dawned. Although the writing was not interrupted due to busyness and physical discomfort, the daily writing time was gradually extended over eighteen days. It was finally completed on the eighth white-side day of the supplementary month, Thursday, when the constellation was the sun god Lh দেন Tsiwa, at the auspicious juncture in the morning. The scribe was Kunsang Palden, a keeper of the Vinaya, whose mind was broad with the light of wisdom in many scriptures. May this act bring auspiciousness to the Dharma and all sentient beings! Sarva Mangalam! (Tibetan: སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: सर्व मङ्गलम्, Sanskrit Romanization: sarva maṅgalam, Literal Chinese Meaning: All Auspiciousness!) Auspicious and perfect! May there be victory. (Tibetan: ཤྲཱི་བི་ཛ་ཡནྟུ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: श्री विजयन्तु, Sanskrit Romanization: śrī vijayantu, Literal Chinese Meaning: Auspicious Victory!) With weapons of reason, destroying the enemy forces, A wondrous tale of renowned fame, Clearly appearing before the wise of Jambudvipa, The name of Dharmakirti of Dignāga shines brightly. 1 Now, in the five sciences, Given by the wisdom Manjushri, the protector, To unravel the intent of the Sugata's words, Immaculate wisdom, Mipham. 2 The secret, excellent speech, the Vaidurya jewel, Cleansed with the three examinations, Giving the treasure of desired qualities, Freely nourishing the teachings. 3 Therefore, the wisdom of discernment, As clear as the moon, others, To cleanse the teachings, And to accustom one's own ability. 4 Adorned with the ornaments of scripture and reason, The body of the meaning of one's own system, Possessing the vitality of a scholar's demeanor, Proceeds before the wise ones. 5 Therefore, the treasure of the essence of excellent speech, Able to withstand examination, unable to be refuted, With this excellent gift of answers, May all intelligent ones increase joy. 6 Therefore, the heart of the ancient wise ones, Clearly illuminated by the sun of reasoning, This treatise is the essence of excellent speech, Thus contemplating, the master of the ancient translation teachings. 7 Katok Situ Pandita, Offering the perfect spiritual friend, With the rays of auspicious hundred petals, From the blossoming of the lotus of conducive conditions. 8 Giving the sweet nectar of excellent speech, May this virtue, the holder of the heart essence teachings, Live long, with vast activity, And all beings pervading the sky. 9 Of lineage.

May the correct view arise, seeing without error as it is. Having quickly attained the state of the Victorious One, may the activity of taming whatever needs to be tamed spread everywhere. 10. This, including the colophon and aspiration, is complete with the qualities of stability, wisdom, and benefit. May the ocean of qualities of wisdom, discipline, and goodness be manifestly attained. According to the command of the great abbot, Lama Karma Tashi Ozer Trinley Kunchap Pal Zangpo, it was written by Mangala Dharma Varbha, who has the eye of wisdom with singular respect for the teachings of the Victorious One and the holders of the teachings. May the precious and stainless doctrine of the guide, the Victorious One, flourish and prosper in all directions, times, and places, and may it remain for a long time! Sarvadā kalyāṇaṃ bhavatu! A concise answer to others' debates, the clear path of reasoning, that itself makes things clear.
