If one refutes others by mistakenly thinking, "This place is like this or not like this," it not only fails to harm the views of others in the slightest, but also exposes the flaws in your own wisdom, appearing ridiculous. Therefore, when teaching "ineffable, unthinkable, non-conceptual, without elaboration," if it is understood as "not ineffable, because the word 'ineffable' can be spoken from the mouth; not unthinkable, because it can be thought; not non-conceptual, because one can conceptualize 'non-conceptual'; not without elaboration, because one can elaborate 'without elaboration,'" then, if one cannot correctly understand the negation and exclusion expressed by words like "ineffable," how can one possibly understand the meaning conveyed by those words? It is like pointing at the moon with a fingertip, and instead of looking at the moon, looking at the fingertip. Just as you yourself said below, "How can you explain emptiness?" If one does not understand the meaning of "ultimate emptiness is free from extremes and inexpressible" as stated in the scriptures, how can one explain emptiness? That statement is indeed true. Therefore, it is fitting to say that those who speak of such a state of emptiness are "the supreme among speakers, the bull of those who speak of emptiness." If one understands the definitive meaning, one also understands the provisional meaning that is not taught in that way. The countless Dharma gates that express profound and vast meanings with all kinds of characteristics, and seeing the true meaning of Suchness, which is the realm of all Buddhas, and teaching emptiness, and showing that the Tathagatagarbha, inseparable from the Dharmadhatu body and wisdom, exists in the realm of sentient beings, are all reasonable. Among these, from the perspective of general characteristics, there is coarse expression; from the perspective of directly realizing the perfectly established self-nature, there is subtle expression; from the perspective of the object, the nature of Dharma is without object; and from the perspective of its subject, entering into non-conceptual wisdom, there are six ways of explanation. These all become valid proofs for the aforementioned points. Therefore, the quotations cited in the polemical text, in the voice of a five-faced lion, for the purpose of refuting others, from "the supreme among speakers" to "the characteristics of non-conceptual wisdom, as stated in the sutras," have not been given any corresponding answers.

Therefore, our school has become a pure school, because those scriptures do not prevent the reason for explaining the definitive meaning that those scriptures intend to express in a way that can be expressed in language. Because those scriptures rely on words that can be expressed through language, thereby establishing the nature of reality that cannot be expressed in any way. Therefore, in conventional truth, there is no prohibition against expressing, thinking, and seeing anything with words, but it is desired that these two exist without contradiction in the same meaning. Therefore, without understanding the ultimate meaning that those scriptures intend to express, it is impossible to explain them in a consistent manner. Furthermore, you said, "In short, you have not even understood the mere names and meanings of the Uttaratantra and the Madhyamaka Collections of Reasoning." When asked how they were not understood, he said, "The Uttaratantra explains the seven vajra positions, and the Collections of Reasoning extensively proves emptiness through reasoning. Since you have admitted that they also do not explain the definitive meaning." The answer is, "We have not said that the meaning to be explained by those scriptures does not explain the definitive meaning. Because we want what they are to explain to be the definitive meaning, which is emptiness, that is, the dharmadhatu that is free from all extremes of objects of focus. Therefore, we understand the names and meanings of those scriptures very well. If others want the dharmadhatu to be a non-affirming negation with an object of focus, then by mere non-affirming negation, 'From where do the three jewels of merit arise?' and so on, the meaning of the lineage or tradition that is extensively explained is not allowed, and therefore it is not allowed to understand it. Moreover, since there are no qualities of the nature of body and wisdom that are inseparable, it is also thought that the name and meaning of the guru are not understood. Similarly, if what the Collections of Reasoning is to prove is the meaning of Madhyamaka, then, for the emptiness of reality as a non-affirming negation, since there is no meaning of Madhyamaka that refutes both extremes." Therefore, it is difficult to correctly understand its name and meaning. Furthermore, in the debate text "The Blaze of Intelligence," he said, "All these establishments are in conventional truth, so they will not become the faults as mentioned above." When you say, "Because it exists in conventional truth, it will not exist," we say that it is impossible to avoid faults in that way. In response to this, with the path of immaculate intelligence, most ancient scholars believe that because it exists in conventional expression, it does not
