It is undeniable that in the very nature of being without truth and free from elaboration, it is spoken of through the path of sound and with the mind's objectification. However, if even the words of the Tathagata are to be twisted according to one's own desires, then what is to be done? If it is necessary to understand through the very intention of the Tathagata himself, then for those with intelligence, this is clearly the meaning of emptiness without an object of focus, without any doubt. Therefore, we wish to open the door to such a profound, elaboration-free Dharma nature, the realm of nectar. In that case, the Dharma nature without an object of focus is extremely profound, making it difficult for children to comprehend. As it is said in the Compendium: "This Dharma of the guides is profound and difficult to see, No one can realize it, and it cannot be attained. Therefore, the benefactor, the compassionate one, having attained enlightenment, Felt a slight concern, wondering if beings would understand. Beings delight in dwelling, desiring objects, Abiding in grasping, unwise, foolish, like darkness. The Dharma to be attained is without dwelling and without grasping, Therefore, disputes arise with the world." Therefore, for those who turn phenomena with characteristics into objects of speculation, there is nothing profound or immeasurable to speak of, so it is said to transcend all speculation. Because the absence of focus and freedom from elaboration are profound, not to mention the lower tenets, even those who speak of the Middle Way are directly represented by these different words spoken now. In the Ornament for Clear Realization, it is said: "By the negation of seeing and so on, It is said to be difficult to realize. Because one does not know forms and so on, It is considered inconceivable." And in the Treatise on the Buddha-Nature: "Because it is subtle, it is not an object of attainment, Because it is ultimate, it is not an object of thought. Because the Dharma nature is profound, the worldly Meditations and so on are not objects." Since these words of yours have already made the preliminary refutation mentioned before and after, then from the teachings of the Victors and the Heirs, the lords of the ten bhumis, if the meaning of the definitive sutras is far away for eons, where can it be found? If it needs to be sought, how can one distinguish between the provisional and the definitive? In the Ratnakuta Sutra and others, it is said, "From the night of enlightenment to the time of nirvana, not a single word was spoken." Taking this statement literally is wrong. To teach emptiness is not

Therefore, the so-called "coarse view" is that we believe there is a teaching that expounds the emptiness of no-characteristics, but we have not said that there is no teaching of emptiness. If "as the word" means that not a single word was spoken in conventional terms, then what contradiction is there if the conventional truth is taught even if emptiness is not taught? Therefore, if the Buddha taught the three wheels of Dharma, how could it be possible that not a single word was spoken in conventional terms? What is the intention behind this? If we consider only the aspect of the absence of characteristics, who teaches, what is taught, and how it is taught are all inconceivable. The sutra quote cited earlier clearly shows that it was spoken from the perspective of being inconceivable. If we add "not a single word of true existence was spoken," then it would follow that all sentient beings have not spoken a single word, and so on. The Prajñāpāramitā Sutra extensively teaches the emptiness of no-characteristics, and is therefore considered the king of all sutras, as has been said before. It is not the case in our system that all definitive and provisional sutras are subject to denigration. Those sutras that teach the emptiness of no-characteristics are definitive sutras, and this very sutra teaches that those that teach conventional truths with characteristics are provisional. Moreover, even relying on definitive sutras, as long as one remains in characteristics, it becomes provisional, as is clear in the above sutra quote. Therefore, no one says that there are no sutras that teach the two truths, so where is this prior position? Without finding the root, who is being refuted? If the sutras that teach the emptiness of characteristics are definitive, then if existence and non-existence are taken as all-encompassing categories, then all negations that are made in a way that is different from that, not only become merely provisional, but also become the doctrine of Heshang. If that is the case, then with regard to existence and non-existence, all the fixations that exist in conventional terms, not a single aspect is negated, and only true existence needs to be negated. Therefore, the emptiness that purifies the dualistic appearance of the various phenomena of existence and non-existence has not been taught by the Victorious One in any way. The belief that the existence of grasper and grasped is in accordance with mind and object, and that the absence of grasper and grasped leads to wrong knowledge, so that "ultimate reality is the domain of the absence of grasper and grasped" becomes mere words, and thus all definitive sutras are being slandered.
