Just as the sprout of the earth, the wisdom of the noble ones does not arise without cause, so why not cultivate it in the accumulation and application paths? It is said that it agrees with dissimilar causes. Here, saying that it is not an object of consciousness because it is free from all extremes is also not a definite reason. Saying that Prajnaparamita is free from the two attachments, and that the view of realizing the ultimate truth is free from all tenets, and saying that the four noble mothers are the path to realizing emptiness. Again, it is said that realizing emptiness is the object of consciousness, and that by fully realizing it, one can abandon the afflictive and cognitive obscurations. In response, it is said: Such faults have listed so many statements, declaring that both ordinary beings and noble ones can realize it. And refuting that since it is also said that it is not an object of consciousness, there are so many contradictions. I did not intend to merely rebuke you with words, but seeing that you think that the meaning of the two truths has so many contradictions, this shows that you are not good at distinguishing the two truths, it is better not to say it, saying too much will not be able to refute the other party, so as said before. We have already admitted that the ultimate truth of no self-nature and freedom from elaboration is the object of consciousness of both ordinary beings and noble ones. Ordinary Madhyamikas experience it in the manner of general characteristics, and noble ones directly realize its nature. If ordinary beings cannot enter such freedom from elaboration, then deliberately arranging barley seeds and rice seedlings as dissimilar causes, ordinary beings only cultivate elaborative and conceptual dharmas, then when the wisdom of the noble ones, which is non-conceptual and free from elaboration, arises, such wisdom, when cultivated in the accumulation and application paths, because there is no pre-existing cause, it will become like rice growing from barley. As the Vajra Heart Commentary says: "From the seed of Kotapa." etc., as quoted before. Then, the idea that the reason for saying that it is not an object of consciousness becomes uncertain, and contradicts saying that it is an object of consciousness, is that, as said above, non-conceptual, freedom from elaboration itself is not the object of conceptual consciousness, therefore it is free from the extreme of attachment.

Why wouldn't it become an object that is either the actual wisdom or in accordance with it? If it is something that is within the realm of mental activity and can be understood, then to assert that the object must be merely the negation of true existence and that the subject must be merely conceptual thought is clearly displaying a self-characteristic that turns its back on wisdom that is without object and free from extremes, and a subject that is non-conceptual. Therefore, there is no need to respond to all the assertions quoted below. Furthermore, in the polemical text, it is said that stating that the wisdom that generates the result does not rely on skillful means, compassion, etc., is like saying that crops can grow without water and soil, which is enough for farmers to ridicule. Saying that all paths converge and flow into the omniscient wisdom that realizes emptiness seems to contradict the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son that he himself quoted earlier, because due to a long-standing attachment to great madness, even the face of the Buddha does not appear for a while. He says. The answer is: This point that you argue is what I said in my commentary on the Prajñāpāramitā: A special wisdom cannot arise without relying on special skillful means, and if realization wisdom arises, then it alone can abandon what is to be abandoned, just as the rising of the sun dispels darkness. If it is said that it abandons what is to be abandoned, and it cannot abandon it without another helper, then it would be like the sun not dispelling darkness. You were a little angry about this and simply told a blatant lie without a direct answer. Who has ever asserted that the wisdom that generates the result does not depend on skillful means, compassion, etc.? Skillful means and wisdom possess each other as cause and condition, and thus generate the result. And we also believe that the wisdom that realizes the two selflessnesses comes from the two accumulations that preceded it. As it says in the Ornament for Clear Realization: He perfectly attends to the Buddhas, He accumulates the accumulations of merit and wisdom, The non-conceptual wisdom towards the Dharma, For the sake of arising, it is considered supreme. We believe as such, but we do not believe that a Hearer who does not have such a prior cause can fully realize the selflessness of phenomena. If one realizes both selflessnesses, then one believes that one can eliminate both obscurations that arise from the cause of the two self-grasps. At the time when the Hearer attains the path of the fruit position, such as stream-enterer, they gradually abandon the afflictive obscurations, and on the Bodhisattva grounds, when they attain the wisdom of that ground,
