It is that all views of Sutra and Tantra are consistent, as quoted before, and because it is known through the two yogas of contrived and uncontrived stages. Thus it is said. Answer: Those things you have said, if summarized in meaning, are selflessness. If one abandons the mind that thinks "it exists in name," then it is impossible to have another mind that realizes the nature of reality. After making such a promise, at the time of directly realizing emptiness, one is separated from the sound-meaning mixed grasping or the conceptual thought of clinging to consciousness, which is combined with names and lineages, etc. At the time of direct realization, there is no grasping of the two. Although one clearly knows this in one's mind, one does not clearly state it, but only speaks vaguely, and then asks, "What contradiction is there with what is realized by valid cognition?" What contradiction is there with what is realized by valid cognition? No one says that yogic direct perception, which is realized by valid cognition, contradicts what is realized by valid cognition. At the time of directly realizing emptiness, merely being separated from clinging to consciousness is not a special characteristic, because all direct perceptions are free from conceptual thought in that way. At the time of directly realizing emptiness, as stated in the Two Truths, "Mind and mental factors are of the nature of the three realms," it is necessary to explain that there is no grasper or grasped that is included by conceptual thought. But as you believe, if you think that the two minds of "selflessness" and "it exists in name" gather and abide in the middle, then in the non-conceptual meditative equipoise of the noble ones in training, at the time when dualistic appearance vanishes, both of those minds must exist, otherwise, if either one is missing, then it will not be able to abide in the middle. In that case, are the two grasped simultaneously or successively? If the former, then it contradicts the fact that non-conceptual meditative equipoise does not perceive the two truths simultaneously, and at that time, there is no conceptual thought of sound-meaning mixed grasping, so there is also no grasping of the two, selflessness and existence in name. Moreover, in general, it is impossible for the two conceptual thoughts of clinging to consciousness to arise simultaneously, so it is refuted. Successive grasping is also impossible, because you believe that it is the object of only the ultimate truth. Therefore, a Madhyamika who can accept a mind with conceptual thought abiding in the middle is acceptable, but if you say that it is unacceptable at the time of non-conceptual direct realization, then it is very contradictory. Furthermore, the mere negation of true existence will not become the object of non-conceptual meditative equipoise in which dualistic appearance vanishes. This reason has already been explained above. A mind that sees the negation of true existence.

Although it exists, may it be free from attachment and cognition. Just as seeing a blue lotus directly, how can there be no grasper and grasped? Because if there is no clinging to non-truth, then it is admitted that non-truth is not understood. Therefore, both the absence of truth in the object and the clinging to non-truth by the subject must exist. If there is no object of knowledge, what is known? As you yourself said below, it is necessary to distinguish where it appears, what appears, and how it appears. If the mind itself has no grasper and grasped, but subsequent cognition calls it that way, it is not contradictory. The absence of object as explained by the early scholars is also done in the same way. The non-dual mind or wisdom that realizes the absence of truth and freedom from elaboration is not only free from the thoughts of attachment and cognition, but also has no grasping and grasped of any conceptualization, and is Madhyamaka, and can prove that reality is realized by the valid means of yogic direct perception. Even when establishing it through hearing and thinking, it can also be proved that it is direct realization, so the three, hearing, thinking, and meditation, are inseparable, and the meaning of understanding and the meaning of realization are the same. Quoting the sutra from the Compendium, "Even if one understands that the aggregates are empty," the word "also" is written upside down in the printed edition, but this was not intentionally arranged by me. It is just a mistake made by the printer, and there may be some writing errors. No matter whose book it is, it is impossible to completely avoid such writing errors, so what is the point of such tedious discussion? The fire of wisdom burns firewood, etc., and it is already established that the object to be burned and the burner are different, and there is no need to prove it again. Therefore, the example of burning two pieces of wood with fire produced by rubbing two pieces of wood together is quoted as it is said in the Sutra Requested by Kashyapa. In the Sutra of Dense Array of Ornaments, it is also said, "Like the fire that burns the object to be burned," etc. When refuting views, it says, "The fire of profound wisdom arises, burning all afflictions," etc. Just as the fire that arises from two pieces of wood burns both pieces of wood, this is just an example, and it is not said that the fire burns itself. According to your view, not burning oneself refers to the fire that arises from other causes, not the fire that arises from wood burning the wood itself.
