Since there is no acceptance in the later case, what is the need to reverse the previous acceptance and turn to the existence of "I"? Because both "I" and "non-I" cannot be determined simultaneously. Therefore, if you think that the way of refuting the four extremes in the analysis of the reality beyond extremes must be applied to the analysis of the existence or non-existence of a snake in the mundane, then it must also be applied to the analysis of whether there is water here. Such a statement is too extreme. Because anyone can understand that merely analyzing whether there is water and whether there is a snake is not an analysis of the ultimate reality. Throwing out such extreme views can only be said to be unique to those unknown scholars, and is a great secret companion of emptiness. If this is the case, then none of the expressions that conform to mundane consensus can be expressed in the ultimate sense, and it must be proved that they exist in the ultimate sense. Therefore, through the unobstructed manifestation of the wisdom that distinguishes knowable objects and non-conceptual wisdom, no matter what one thinks of existence or non-existence, acceptance or rejection, knowers and knowable objects, they will not be regarded as attachment and obstacles to the path, but will also very clearly distinguish the obstacles and non-obstacles of the path, such as acceptance and rejection, and the knowable objects of existence and non-existence. In this way, one can clearly see that the meanings of various manifestations are not confused, and one can understand that the reality free from elaboration and manifestation are non-dual and one. Do not become a one-sided wise person who grasps the side of manifestation and abandons non-manifestation, or grasps the side of non-manifestation and cannot explain any establishment of manifestation, but rather obtain unobstructed wisdom of the meaning of suchness and all that exists. Therefore, the former Chinese monk only relied on "not keeping anything in mind," and it is said that he used eighty sutras as the basis, but this is just a legend. Nowadays, there are no documents quoting sutras or determining their meaning, so how can one know whether it is the same or different from others? Because the basis of similarity is uncertain. If he had already determined non-conceptual wisdom as stated in the sutras and great treatises, then how could one now hear the voice that only shows the part of prohibiting generosity and other methods?
