The sutras and tantras that shower down like rain, along with their commentaries, the nectar-like portions of what the great king-ministers and bodhisattvas of the past brought forth for the people of the snowy lands to enjoy, if one does not cut off oneself from them, but takes them properly, then one is certainly among those with good fortune. Therefore, although in argumentative writings, one may falsely claim to be the logic of true Indian and Tibetan scholars by using two negations, it is actually sharpening a weapon to kill oneself. If something is not unreal, then it is real; if something is not not real, then it becomes real. Young novices are not even familiar with the collections of "is, is not, not is," so it seems quite difficult to uphold one's own doctrine, that is, the position of one's school. Similarly, there is no hope for things like the pervasiveness of "exists, understands exists, does not exist, understands does not exist" through the eight doors and four doors, whether one thing is the same or not the same, the contradictory reason in consequentialism, the contradictory dharma, whether refutation is cast or not cast, and the three valid cognitions that determine subsequent pervasion. Only the great, invisible demon that lies dormant in the mind is certain to torment one constantly. The noble one said, "If one reverses selflessness, then it will be thoroughly established as self." And, the way to negate the inexpressible self, the non-contradiction of the five knowledges, etc., the fortune to enjoy the feast of scholars is extremely rare. That is, that which does not exist in ultimate reality and exists in conventional reality, the inseparability of these two, is the state of being free from increase and decrease. As it says in the Ornament and the Uttaratantra, "Here there is nothing to be removed, and there is nothing to be placed." And as it says in the Entering, "From emptiness, one will be completely born." Although these are the intentions of many sutras and tantras, they say, "Even so." The answer is: In the texts of valid cognition, the establishment of what is correct and incorrect is explained in detail, but in the monastic colleges, the stacking of "is" and "is not," etc., is taught merely for the sake of the verbal expressions of young novices, and although this may be true, if one can easily measure the suchness that transcends thought and expression with just that, then as it is said, "Although I have taught, others do not understand." And, "Therefore, the unfortunate ones find this Dharma difficult to fathom, so the Buddha's mind turned away from teaching the Dharma and turned towards nirvana." And, "The profound, the child

It becomes unnecessary to say things like 'not being an object of practice.' Moreover, merely by examining with reasonings such as one and many, one can understand the lack of inherent existence. What ordinary beings can understand is also what noble beings see. If it is ultimate emptiness, then is it more difficult than establishing subtle impermanence etc. through reasoning? Anyone, self or other, can know that. It is impossible to teach only by praising profundity like that, so this is an object of sound conceptualization and can be taught. While it is something that can be fully understood, prove that the scriptures mentioned above are not correct scriptures using the reasoning of the table of contents of the Compendium of Topics. Therefore, if we contemplate emptiness free from extremes, which transcends all affirmation and negation and becomes the object of individual self-awareness, we can trust it as the scriptures say, and we can also have certainty about the meaning it teaches. Therefore, I feel fortunate that I do not have to abandon the Mahayana Dharma. If it returns from being existent, it is non-existent, and if it returns from being non-existent, if it returns from being existent, it reverts to being existent, etc. It is not worth being arrogant to know only that much, using mere words to pass a lifetime. However, when measuring conventionalities, it is meaningless to say something like "neither existent nor non-existent," which is devoid of all acceptance. Regarding conventional phenomena, one must accept either existence or non-existence, permanence or impermanence, etc. It is not permissible to say both or neither. If one says that there is no acceptance of the four extremes in the state of reality that transcends conventions and pacifies elaborations, then wouldn't it be too extreme to refute the Buddha's teachings with the Compendium of Topics? Even so, above, because there is no elaboration of the four extremes, there is no acceptance, and if we consider it from the perspective of having acceptance, then the way of preventing the four extremes is unreasonable. By mastering the Compendium of Topics with that reasoning, it becomes clear whether you are familiar with the Compendium of Topics, as the contradiction stated in the Compendium of Topics is said to be a fallacy in your system. Furthermore, in the treatises on valid cognition, subsequent pervasion and reverse pervasion are shown for the purpose of ascertaining the pervasion of the subject and the predicate going and returning subsequently. Based on that, when formulating a consequence, if both subsequent and reverse, and above that, if it is clear, then the reason is the downward pervasion of that, and the reason is that.
