Since it is impossible not to consider where the boundary lies between the meditative absorption of the mother that is free from elaboration and that which involves elaboration. If one places too much emphasis on accepting freedom from elaboration, then any teacher must be examined. In the note that Je Tsongkhapa offered to Redawa, it says: "The noble ones of the Prasangika school, when in meditative equipoise, abide in the ultimate truth that is devoid of all assertions and is non-conceptual. Afterwards, in the post-meditative state, dependent arising, like a reflection in water, appears without obstruction as the conventional ultimate truth. Therefore, the ultimate truth that is non-conceptual, whose characteristic is freedom from elaboration, is said to be the domain of the noble ones, so it is clear that freedom from elaboration itself is considered to be the ultimate reality." Moreover, he said that in the three lower tantras as well, formless yoga is said to be supreme, which is true. In the Manifestation of Enlightenment of Vairochana, it says: "Lord of Secrets, enlightenment and omniscience should be sought entirely from one's own mind. Why is that? Because the mind is by nature completely pure; it is not inside, it is not outside, nor is it found in between." And, "The Buddhas have not seen this mind, nor will they see it; it is not blue, it is not yellow," and so forth, extensively explained. This is the door of the appearance of the Dharma of a Bodhisattva; abiding in this, with little effort one obtains the samadhi that dispels all obscurations, thereby attaining limitless qualities such as associating with the Buddhas. Also, it says: "Those who do not understand emptiness, do not understand nirvana. Therefore, one should understand emptiness through the destruction of things and non-things." And, "This is merely aggregates; I have never existed." And so forth. And: "Where the mind and mental factors, all thoughts are abandoned, and from conceptualization, all elaborations will cease, that is said to be Bodhicitta." And: "Enlightenment is the nature of space, it is the abandonment of all thoughts. Whoever desires to realize it, is called a Bodhisattva." And, in the Root Verses of Manjushri, it says: "If one truly contemplates a single dharma, the mantra of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will be accomplished; what is that single dharma? It is that all dharmas are elaboration.

It is seen accordingly in the aspect of non-existence. Thus it is said. Vajrasekhara says: It is neither existent nor non-existent. It is neither a thing nor a non-thing. It is neither expressible nor inexpressible. Purity itself is nirvana. Thus and so on. In short, although it is not possible to write down all the yogas of detachment taught in the lower three tantras, it should be understood by this. Furthermore, it is very true that he mentioned that it is taught in the root tantras of the Anuttarayoga Tantra, such as the Guhyasamaja and the Chakrasamvara. As the Guhyasamaja says: Where there is no object, there is no meditation. Meditation is not meditation itself. Thus, object and non-object, meditation is without object. Thus it is said. In the short tantra of Chakrasamvara: To sentient beings with many desires, he shows various behaviors, taming the trainable in various ways, the means is to show various things. When teaching the profound Dharma, even if one does not believe in it, one should not despise it, one should remember that the nature of Dharma is inconceivable. Who is this who is not my realm? Who is it who does not know the nature of Dharma? The perfect Buddhas and their sons, the great masters know. Whether the Buddhas have appeared or not, but at all times, the inconceivable nature of Dharma exists by abandoning increase and decrease. What has been said should also be remembered. From the Chakrasamvara Abhidhana Tantra: Since it is not material, the self is consciousness. Since it is not seen in ignorance, it does not dwell anywhere without form, and since it is immutable, it is stable. Thus it is said. The vows are Bodhi Chakrasamvara, invisible and unspeakable. Thus it is said. Meditation is the nature of non-existence, non-existence is free from elaboration. The action of self-awareness, meditation is also without meditation. Thus it is said. From the manifestation of Vajravarahi: Taking the object as non-existent is the best of meditation. Understand the selflessness of phenomena. The mind of grasping is non-existent is the best of meditation. Understand the selflessness of the person. Thus it is said. Samadhiraja Sutra says: It is neither empty nor non-empty, it does not focus on the middle way, if it is combined with Prajnaparamita, the means is the nature of great compassion. Thus it is said. Discrimination is great ignorance, it is the cause of falling into the ocean of samsara, abiding in non-discrimination samadhi, like the sky is without stain.
