It is sufficient to show only a little, and it is not elaborated in detail. These teachings, as such, are from the Sutra on the Power of Faith in the Great Vehicle, which states that explaining emptiness literally and improperly is not a place for generating faith in the Great Vehicle. It is said that from this, twenty-eight kinds of improper views arise, such as clinging to characteristics and viewing views as non-views, and it is shown that all of these have the root of viewing as non-existence. Therefore, son of good family, abiding in the path of yoga that is extremely secluded, the bodhisattva thus keeps in mind the dharmas of the Great Vehicle. For those dharmas of the Great Vehicle that are profound and secret and cannot be understood by the mind, the Buddha alone is the measure. Having made the Buddha the measure, one then believes in those dharmas. It is as it is said in this way. However, in the Avatamsaka Sutra, it says: When wisdom is small, these dharmas cannot be fully understood. The eye of wisdom is completely purified, and then one will enter into this principle. And it also says: Others who are very steadfast in mind, are completely embraced by virtuous friends, and are blessed by all the Buddhas, will enter into this wisdom of the Buddha. And it also says: For dharmas that have no place to abide, when one completely investigates a place to abide, therefore, in the prison of existence, children revolve greatly. Dharmas that cannot be expressed by words are discriminated by those of weak intelligence, and by this, they are completely obscured, and also make one's own mind extremely deluded. With small wisdom, one goes astray, and not being skilled in one's own mind, with inverted and mistaken minds, one increases the inexhaustible body. And as it is said in the Noble Sutra on Fully Embracing the Roots of Virtue: Son of Sharadvati, children follow the words, but the wise follow the meaning. And as it is said in the King of Samadhi Sutra: Those who are indicated by sound, many dharmas are beyond comprehension. Those who are attached to those sounds do not understand the intention of the Tathagata. Not understanding the intention of the Tathagata, because they have not trained in the nature of dharma, they explain what is not dharma as dharma. In the empty realms of the world, whatever sutras I have spoken, the words are different but the meaning is the same, and it is not possible to say everything. One word completely
