Having spoken in such an authoritative manner, and again there, when the great bodhisattvas such as the past Akashagarbha and others each showed the gate of dharma that transcends the realm of demons, at the time of showing the unborn, it was said that the bodhisattva who is far beyond the object of focus transcends the realm of demons, and that the focus of the mind is the realm of demons. What can a demon do to someone who does not cling to anything? Furthermore, it is said that entering into the same taste of emptiness endowed with all perfections, the mind without leaks, and all the activities of demons and the activities of the Buddhas in the three doors of liberation and non-elaboration, etc., is the gate of dharma that causes one to transcend the realm of demons. Manjushri said: Noble beings, all that you have said is the activity of demons and the realm of demons. Why is that? Because all that is written is discrimination, and the Buddha's speech is without letters. As many words as there are, so many are the activities of demons, and what can a demon do where there are no words? That which is without words is without discrimination, and neither self nor others are truly seen. Since there is neither self nor others, there is no benefit or harm to any dharma, and it does not exist. Such subsequent thought is truly transcending the realm of demons. And in the Lankavatara Sutra it says: Great wisdom, the ultimate meaning is to be realized by the noble ones themselves through their own wisdom, and it is not the object of the mind of verbal discrimination. Also, Great Wisdom, great bodhisattvas, with the lamp of the sound of verbal discrimination, are free from verbal discrimination, and follow the object of the meaning of self-awareness. Furthermore, having discriminated against sound as it is, they also impute to the nature of reality, and those who impute to it, sentient beings will fall into the hell realms. Furthermore, Great Wisdom, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should rely on meaning and not rely on letters. Great Wisdom, a son or daughter of good family who follows after letters will cause himself to fall away from meaning, and also cause others to
