The supreme means. Beings suffer from fear of what is and is not their place. When a great heap of non-merit is accumulated for a long time, without good lineage, bad friends, past virtue, or training of the mind. This Dharma becomes suffering, and one falls from this great purpose. Other than that, there is nothing else, it is very profound and follows, therefore, it shows various things and always has teachings from many doors. As it is said, it is not the meaning, the Bhagavan's intention is very profound. If the wise examine it properly, they will not be afraid of this Dharma. Here, first, relying on hearing, attention arises. From proper attention, true wisdom arises in the realm of meaning. From that, Dharma is obtained, and from that, wisdom greatly increases. When that is, if there is no individual self-awareness, how can it be determined? I do not know, the Buddha's profoundness is not known. Why is it profound? It is not an object of thought. Why is it that those who know the profound meaning are liberated? That action is not a reason to be afraid. Believing in inferiority and the realm is also very inferior, surrounded by inferior friends and others. The Dharma that is profound, vast, and well-spoken, if there is no faith in this, it is accomplished. After following hearing and obtaining intelligence, whoever despises hearing. In various countless forms, by what ignorance is it determined? If one completely imagines the meaning as sound, then one becomes arrogant and wisdom declines. Because even what is well-spoken is abandoned, one will be destroyed, obscured by anger towards the Dharma. The fault of the mind is naturally violent, so it does not tolerate even an irrational form, what need is there to mention a Dharma that causes doubt? Therefore, leave it in equanimity, there is no good or bad. Thus, the words of the Victorious Banner, the Lord of the Ten Bhumis, are important to hold as the nectar of the hearts of all self and others. When showing in order to destroy all the elaborations of the view of emptiness, holding onto the names of selflessness and emptiness of truth as they sound, as it is said, such as self-arrogance and decline of wisdom. At a time when there are many who accumulate the karma of abandoning the Dharma by slandering the nature of the Dharma of the pacification of elaborations spoken of in the Great Vehicle, one should think as stated above. The noble one

Yang! Profound, obscure, and frightening. As it says in the Root Verses: Therefore, knowing that this Dharma is difficult for the weak to understand, the heart of the Able One turned completely away from teaching the Dharma. As it is said, etc., it is appropriate that you have quoted these scriptures. The verses such as wandering in the forest of delusion that you spoke of earlier are also good. There is no higher view than your selflessness and true emptiness. The root of samsara is ultimately self-grasping, and its ultimate antidote is the wisdom of realizing selflessness. All Sutras and Tantras agree on this point, and we also agree with it. As the scripture says, "Seeing selflessness in objects," etc., in order to eradicate the object of clinging to reality from the root, one must see emptiness in the way of negation, in the way of non-existence, as explained in the commentary, which you have also quoted. However, regarding the meaning of the words selflessness and true emptiness, as it is said in the sutra: All Buddhas have declared emptiness to be the relinquishing of all views; but if one clings to the view of emptiness, that is what the wise should not do. Thus, knowing that all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas are without inherent existence, thereby touching the object of non-conceptual wisdom that transcends all elaboration, if one has not reached that state, but merely negates true establishment, yet clings to that aspect of non-existence, taking the emptiness that merely prevents a few elaborations as the ultimate emptiness, there are these two understandings. Therefore, in general, we never deny that the meaning of true non-existence, emptiness, and selflessness is the existing reality, but for those views that have not completely prevented elaboration and still have elaboration, we are not newly creating the statement that they are not the ultimate emptiness spoken of in the Mother Sutra, but are following what Shakyamuni Buddha and his followers have said, and we follow the teacher and say so. Likewise, in the Hundred Thousand Verses of the Perfection of Wisdom, it says: Subhuti, if there is even a single mark as small as the amount of space occupied by a particle placed on the tip of a hair, one will not be able to attain unsurpassed enlightenment. And in the Eight Thousand Verses, it says: World-Honored One, corresponding to the conception of things,
