Now, even if one searches repeatedly with intense thoughts of feeling as a cause, one becomes exhausted from not finding something truly satisfying, and seems somewhat disturbed in mind, so please rest in the realm of non-reality! Furthermore, if it is said that "ignorance is the cause, and feeling is the result," as if establishing it through the complete assembly of causes, then ignorance becomes the subject of the syllogism, which contradicts the example. If it is said that "whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like something made," then that is too extreme. In reality, feeling and craving arise because of the existence of ignorance. However, in the root text, ignorance is used as an example because the opponent has already accepted it. If ignorance exists, then the part of its result will also gradually be established. Using one set of arguments as an example does not make it the object to be proven at that time. There is no rule made by the Teacher that what was previously used as an example in other arguments cannot later be used as the object to be proven. Even Brahma and Indra cannot do that. For example, in the case of "whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like sound is also made," although fire is used as an example. But elsewhere, it is like "whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like sound, fire is also made." Furthermore, just as ignorance is an example, the object of the example, craving, is also included in the category of cognitive obscurations. If the example and the object of the example must be exactly the same, then that is too extreme. If the example and the object of the example must be the same in all aspects, then that is too extreme. But when used as an example, if there is no similarity, then using it as an example is meaningless, so there must also be similarity. Just as you said that one must distinguish between the main and secondary aspects of what is expressed and the meaning of the example, one cannot accomplish important refutations and establishments with only narrow-minded insistence, it is just increasing the fatigue of writing. In this case, if one were to turn this kind of meaningless argument around, there would be many similarities, but because it is not very meaningful, I will not elaborate. Also, you yourself explain in a fragmented way, while we explain by connecting without abandoning the overall context. "Chandrakirti (ཟླ་བས།): Your yoga sees selflessness (ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་བདག་མེད་མཐོང་བ་ཡིས།)." etc., this is the meaning of the verse that was said. Your seeing the truth does not lead to understanding it, and because you focus on form and feeling as being true and enter into them, you will again attract craving and desire.

Because of not understanding that true reason, by meditating on the wisdom that does not observe the three spheres to make afflictions cease, below, it can be understood through the verses such as "At any time there is no feeling." If so, from "Praise is meaningful" etc. until "The leader of praise is confused" what is said is, have you not abandoned the usual path? This verse of the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, because it is the basis for the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas not fully realizing emptiness, fearing that it would harm the commitment of their own school, no matter what new method of explanation you make that leads the meaning to other aspects is acceptable. We, who follow the ancient sages, like what is said in the Abhidharmakośa, establish that it is meaningful by realizing that nature of our own path of seeing the truth. You establish that it is meaningless. We establish that the complete realization of emptiness is the uncommon realization of the Mahāyāna. You establish that even if you fully realize it, it is a path common to the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Similarly, at the time when the subtle selflessness of the person is realized and the habituation reaches the ultimate, although attachment will not arise by focusing on form etc., it is believed that even if only the gross selflessness of the person is realized, attachment will arise by focusing on form etc. as true. If one has the wisdom that does not observe the three spheres, then if the obscuration of knowledge can also cease, what need is there to say that afflictions such as attachment will cease? Because all the scriptures say that it is the antidote to the two obscurations.
