It is. Thus it is said, and the Noble One also said, "Profoundly intricate and terrifying." Thus it abides in meaning. As it is said: In the past, the forest of delusion was filled with firewood, The wisdom of hundreds of thousands of wise and accomplished Naga Kings, The ashes burned by thousands of blazing suns, Lie scattered, and the foolish rush to take the essence. Therefore, with the unparalleled fierce mantra of scripture and reason, The skull of pride in the sound of generosity is shattered, And together with the vow, the essence also vanishes, Now, in this era, strive to give the sacred objects that have been obtained. Here is the establishment of the former position, and its refutation. The first is the Ṭīkā: Non-reality is only the ultimate truth of designation, and emptiness, which is free from all extremes, is the ultimate truth that is not a designation. In the treatises of the Svātantrika school, the former is emphasized, and in the treatises of the Prāsaṅgika school, the latter is emphasized. The reality of things, the ultimate truth, is free from all extremes such as existence and non-existence, so it is not the object of the mind, because the mind and sound are conventional, not ultimate. Thus it is repeated. The second is: Thus, there is no ultimate truth that is superior to emptiness and selflessness. The root of saṃsāra is ultimately nothing other than the clinging to reality, and the ultimate antidote to abandon it is the wisdom of realizing selflessness, so the sūtras and tantras are all in agreement. The Prajñāpāramitā Sūtras and their commentaries, the collections of Madhyamaka reasoning, extensively explain the absence of inherent existence. In the lower three classes of tantras, the yoga without signs is also said to be supreme. In the Anuttarayoga Tantras, the essential mind of the union, the ultimate bodhicitta of the six lineages, is in the form of selflessness, and similarly in the ninth chapter and so on, and in the Hevajra Tantra, it is also said: Emptiness of causes and so on is the preliminary, etc. In the fourth chapter: After making all dharmas the nature of selflessness. Therefore, what is said is undeniable. If you see the absence of self in objects. Thus it is quoted, and there is no way to fundamentally reverse from seeing objects as emptiness. Thus it is said, and when explaining emptiness, there is only negation without negating form and so on, because if it is not negated in this way, one will ultimately cling to things. Thus, the former and latter positions.

Mixing and explaining, everything said is exactly the same. Ṭīkā (Sanskrit, Devanagari, ṭīkā, commentary): From this, they also do not consider non-existence to be the ultimate reality. Having said this, to prove it, quoting the scripture from the Ornament of the Middle Way: Because there is no birth, etc., there is no non-birth, etc. If the two "etc." in this scripture do not show the separation from the four extremes, what do they show? If it shows, in order to refute the statement in the treatises of the Svātantrika school that it shows the previous ultimate truth. In this way, if you cling to non-self, you will fall into the extreme of nihilism; if you cling to existence, you will fall into the extreme of existence. In this way, if you do not cling to both, you will fall into the extreme of non-duality. Therefore, because there is no clinging to anything, there is no doubt that you are following the path of the monk Mahāyāna, because you have received the share of being naked. There is also no chasing after arguments. The Prajñābhava also says: In this way, non-self-nature itself is the essence of all things, but it does not exist with the ultimate nature. Etc., it is widely said. In this way, it is refuted. Answering this: The Ornament of Clear Realization says: This object is not a real thing, it is accepted that the owner has mindfulness, this peaceful nature, the good speakers always argue. As it is said, as it is said in the sutras, for the object and aspect of the uninterrupted path of the nature of pacifying all elaborations, these sixteen disputes are disputes raised by opponents who have not realized the union of the two truths, the object of being free from elaboration. For example, if all dharmas are empty of self-nature, then the object of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas is not reasonable, so think; if you definitely cling to the nature of being free from elaboration, then the aspect of being free from elaboration is not reasonable, and if you do not cling, then you will not cling to being free from elaboration, etc.; thinking that the clear realization of the Buddha is not reasonable, because the speculation of the nature of existence and non-existence is prevented, so there is no way to realize other than that, etc. All the extensive explanations have clarified this, so here too, what you have said is timely. In the proof of the scripture of the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: Reasoning relies on uncertainty, not pervasive, worldly, causing boredom, it is considered to rely on children, therefore it is not their object. And, because of its vastness and depth, fully matured and not discriminating, therefore two are shown from this, that is
