Like shooting an arrow without aiming at the target, it becomes a laughingstock when seen by the wise. Thus, most of your views seem to be completely wrong, so I don't have time to refute them one by one, but when some logical situations arise, I will refute them. That's what I would say. To that, I will also offer a slight response. Regarding this direct expression in the text of the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra: the vow that there is desire that is not afflicted, feeling is the argument, and ignorance is taken as an example. There, the distinction that desire is led by the two grasping at self and mine, and that feeling is grasping at truth or self-established, if it is necessary to add these distinctions as the author's intention, then it should be clearly added. Nor should it be written like this, as if one has something to say but cannot express it. Like losing the key to logic, making meaningless detours, and causing fatigue to oneself, such things are absolutely not found in great beings like Śāntideva. In general, even if one only roughly understands the meaning of what great scholars say, because the logic is sharp, decisive, easy to examine, and correct, it creates joy, and it is definitely not something difficult to distinguish between black and white. That is to say, in the course of the previous debate, there does not seem to be any ability to clearly show those distinctions that need to be added here. If it is necessary to refer to the previous debates to understand the key to this logic, and this also needs to understand the previous ones, then this itself does not have those distinctions, and moreover, due to the way of expression, I think it does not agree with your way of explaining it. How is it? Because the phrase "this desire" is temporarily to answer what was said earlier that there is no subsequent desire, so if according to your view, Śāntideva's own system saying "even if it is not afflicted" is meaningless. Because in the continuum of the person whom the opponent wants to liberate, there is also subsequent desire, because the innate view of self grasping at self-established is not abandoned, so why is there no desire arising from it? That's what should be said. However, because it was not said that way, the opponent is certain that there is no subsequent desire.

Some say that it is understandable to answer "even if it is not afflicted" etc., based on the absence of afflicted craving that leads to rebirth. If it is thought that this is aimed at outsiders, using ignorance as an example, and thus arguing that there are two types of craving, then even if craving can be established as both afflicted and non-afflicted in the eyes of outsiders, it does not help one's own intention at all. If what is intended is whether or not there is craving caused by the two types of self-grasping, then the scriptures do not show this. Because whether in the Abhidharma or the Ornament of Clear Realization, there is no craving caused by the innate view of self that is the root of samsara that is not afflicted. If you want to argue that even afflicted craving caused by such self-grasping can lead to rebirth, then you should not say "even if it is not afflicted", because craving that can lead to rebirth is pervasive of affliction. If this is not the case, but it is thought that "even if it is not afflicted" refers to the non-afflicted craving caused by the self-grasping that holds the person to be an independent and self-sufficient entity, then is there no craving caused by the view of self that holds the person to be self-characterized? If you want to emphasize this, then the root statement says "even if it is not afflicted" and "like ignorance", so it can usually be understood that there is non-afflicted craving, so in this case, how is the afflicted craving in the intention understood? The phrase "is there no" must be connected to the preceding "even if it is not afflicted" in order to express meaning. That is to say, if it is specifically pointed out that the craving in the continuum of an Arhat is not afflicted, and ignorance is used as an example, and then it is said "is there no", then it can certainly be understood as is there no non-afflicted existence? If, as you, the realist, wish, the craving in the continuum of an Arhat is taken as the object of investigation, and then combined with the two types of craving that exist and do not exist in the intention for explanation, then what does not exist must be explained as the afflicted manifestation of craving caused by the previous self-grasping. If this is the case, then it is meaningless to simply say "afflicted", because it is not the craving caused by the self-grasping that holds the person to be an independent and self-sufficient entity, and the craving that is both afflicted and craving.
