Wise people show good and bad. Whether war and thieves happen or not, let's separate the distinction between victory and defeat now! If it happens, it's the god arrow, ya ya ya! If it doesn't happen, it's the demon arrow, ya ya ya! When goodness is complete and perfect, the body is free from illness, and all great aspirations are fulfilled, the god arrow is the great messenger of the gods. Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, now cut through the high sky. Don't be timid, stomp on this demon arrow three times with your feet. Let the shaft of the black demon arrow crack, split, and tremble, and cut off three feathers. Don't destroy the palace with hail! All four arrows fly upwards, causing the shaft to break and scatter. Don't cross the Dingding tent. If you cross the corner of the Yungdrung and cause the sky to separate, it means you are facing the time of the end of the kalpa, so be careful! Don't make the black demon arrow sound, causing it to tremble and flee without being able to drive it away. Don't panic and retreat! Move this way and slide to the end of the wine. Don't spill tsampa on your mouth! If the butter of the god arrow sticks to the demon arrow, don't make a clicking sound! The arrow shaft opening is blocked, and don't let cracks appear on the arrow shaft! Don't break the bones of the eagle, and let the feathers fall off, like a white lion shaking its turquoise mane. Let the red god arrow be full of power, don't mix good and bad, separate them. If it's good, don't ask the bad for anything. If it's bad, don't show off to the good! Drive this huge black demon arrow into the river now! Don't crawl under the demon arrow, and don't let the feathers cross and become confused.

Two good, flawless crimson deity arrows, and two flawless gray ghost arrows, with their nocks joined together, are placed in the center of the "Yungdrung". Tie a white protective thread or white silk around the neck of the deity arrow, and tie a black one around the neck of the ghost arrow. On the altar, insert arrows and banners, and place offerings such as tsampa, butter, alcohol, offerings, butter lamps, incense, etc., as much as possible. Perform a smoke offering and curse ritual in front of yourself, and then gather. In a clean state, sit on a comfortable cushion and recite the refuge and bodhicitta. Visualize yourself as Avalokiteshvara and recite one hundred rounds of mani. Invite and merge into the presence of King Gesar, who is in his prime, with a beautiful appearance, three eyes, holding a white lotus in his right hand, and a mirror in his left hand, surrounded by warriors, dakinis, war gods, and Wermas, clearly visible. Offer any suitable offerings such as smoke offerings and golden drinks. With the thought: King Gesar, please truthfully reveal the matter I am divining. Recite "ཨ་ཀརྵཱ་ཡ་རལ་གྲི་ནག་པོ་ཤིག་ཤིག་ཨ་ཀ་ཡ་མ་ར་ཙ་པྲ་ཕོབ། (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari unavailable, akarsaya raldri nagpo shig shig akaya maratsa prapob, summoning, black sword, shig shig, akaya, maratsa, prapob)" a hundred times or up to a thousand times, and then insert the arrow into the nock. The diviner holds the deity arrow in the right hand and the ghost arrow in the left hand. Some also hold the ghost arrow in the right hand and the deity arrow in the left hand, with the nocks joined together. The nock of the deity arrow is decorated with butter. Align the arrowheads of the two arrows with the nocks, and hold them firmly with a little force. With the thought: If the desired outcome is favorable, the deity arrow wins and the ghost arrow loses; if it is unfavorable, the ghost arrow wins and the deity arrow loses. Pray repeatedly to make the arrows tremble. No matter how the arrows tremble, keep them in place and perform the divination. Alternatively, you can have two other unclean people hold the arrows, and the diviner recites mantras and scatters grains. It is very important that the arrow holders are clean. If the arrow trembles violently, the matter is ominous.
