On the nineteenth of the first month of autumn, because of seeking food, it is a big thebs (increase day). The ninth and tenth are also thebs (increase days), according to the astrological calendar. The ninth, nineteenth, and twenty-ninth should be bzlog (inauspicious day), but there is also a saying that the third and tenth should be bzlog pa'i (returned). On the twenty-first (21) and twenty-third of the first month of winter, the eighteenth and fifteenth collect the essence of plants, so it is thebs (increase day), and the fifth and seventeenth are also thebs (increase day), according to the astrological calendar. The sixth, sixteenth, and twenty-sixth should be bzlog (inauspicious day), and the second, sixth, third, and twentieth should also be bzlog pa'i (returned). In the last month of winter, the dragons sleep, and there is no benefit or harm, so it is not thebs (increase day), according to the Vajrakilaya and astrological calendars. That is to say, in general, the last month of winter is sleeping, and the three months of spring are also sleeping, the three months of summer wake up, the three months of autumn flourish, and the middle month of winter dies. It is said that from the eighth day of the first month of summer, the prince caste wakes up, and on the fifteenth, the king caste and the common people caste wake up. When the dragons sleep, give them food to eat. When they wake up, cut off the year and month of the snake. The third month is the snake month. If you offer to the dragons at the end of that month, it will be auspicious. When it is the dragon increase day, perform dragon torma (klu gtor), dragon offering (klu chog), rainmaking (char 'bebs), dragon wealth (klu rgyu), and give incense to the dragons at the star constellation (skar sna rma). This is said in the tantras. Performing all the activities that rely on the dragons, such as offering, will become auspicious.
