向左旋转，挖掘五个土坑，这本身就是成就之地，因此它能增进四种事业，产生许多好的结果，所以要作为容器来对待，并混合其他吉祥的土。用摧破金刚（藏文：རྣམ་འཇོམས་，梵文天城体：वज्रविदारण，梵文罗马拟音：vajravidāraṇa，汉语字面意思：金刚摧破）的咒水和冷水进行洒扫，遍洒于所要进行的土地上。由四众僧侣进行抛洒，并诵吉祥颂，这样就能带来吉祥，一切事业都能成就。首先在挖掘的线内挖掘五个土坑之后，随意挖掘即可。无论是大如阎浮提，还是小如量器底部的线，在其中聚集，都是缘起的法性。如果不通过线来观察，而在肚皮后面挖掘，就会发生自身死亡、住所迁移、财产损失等不吉祥的事情。如果在身体的九个部位挖掘，父母、子女、妻子和亲属都会死亡。如果到最后挖掘，大象、马、牲畜会死亡，力量会衰弱，所以要避免在肚皮的所有部位挖掘，而要在船底前方的线眼所落之处挖掘，因为那是开启成就宝藏之地，所以要在那里挖掘。首先挖掘五个土坑，之后就不需要考察是否是身体的部位等，挖掘一庹长的土地，并观察土质，如果土色油润、黑色，出现各种珍宝，就非常好，再次填入时，填满且肥沃就好。填满一半算中等。没有填满就不好。出现石头就有大风。出现骨头就刺痛。出现瓦片就愚钝。出现灰烬和煤炭的层层堆积。出现头发、煤炭、木头等，就有小的灾祸。出现动物的腐烂尸体等，就不好。挖掘的坑被水填满。出现大鱼或活鱼就好。向坑里注水，自己向后走一百步，再回来，如果坑里仍然充满水就好。水位低就不好。如果出现带水声的声音，就表示龙族的恐惧，要避免并掩埋坑。土色白色表示有王族的成就等等。在那个地方放置珍宝瓶和伏藏。供养食子。进行送神仪式，擦除龙的形象。发愿，如果在那块吉祥的土地上建造房屋等，就会吉祥。这个仪式和观察主要针对房屋和坛城的地基进行观察。坛城地基的土地应该是粘稠的，没有石头、树木等就好。因为石头、树木等是土地的刺，所以要清除并使其粘稠。

Turning to the left, digging five earth pits, that itself is the ground of accomplishment, therefore it increases the purpose of the four activities and produces many good results, so it should be treated as a vessel and mixed with other auspicious earths. Sprinkle with the mantra water of Vajravidāraṇa (Tibetan: རྣམ་འཇོམས་，Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रविदारण，Sanskrit Romanization: vajravidāraṇa，Literal meaning: Vajra Destroyer) and cool water, spreading it all over the ground where the work is to be done. If the four assemblies of monks perform scattering and recite auspicious verses, it will bring auspiciousness and all purposes will be accomplished. First, after digging five earth pits inside the dug line, it is permissible to dig as you please. Whether the line drawn is as large as Jambudvipa or as small as the bottom of a measuring vessel, the gathering within it is the nature of interdependent origination. Furthermore, if one digs on the back of the stomach without examining the line, inauspicious events such as one's own death, relocation of residence, loss of property, etc., will occur. If one digs in the nine parts of the body, parents, children, wives, and relatives will die. If one goes to the end and digs, elephants, horses, and livestock will die, and strength will diminish, so one should avoid digging in all parts of the stomach, and dig where the line of the bottom of the boat falls in front, because that is the place to open the treasure of accomplishment. First, after digging five earth pits, there is no need to examine whether it is a part of the body or not, dig a fathom of earth and examine the soil. If the soil color is oily, black, and various jewels appear, it is very good. When refilling, it is good if it is full and fertile. Half full is medium. Not full is bad. If stones appear, there will be great wind. If bones appear, there will be pain. If tiles appear, there will be dullness. If layers of ashes and charcoal appear. If hair, charcoal, wood, etc., appear, there will be minor harm. If old animal corpses, etc., appear, it is bad. If the dug pit is filled with water. It is good if large fish or live fish appear. Pour water into the pit, walk back a hundred paces, and then return. It is good if the pit is still full of water. Low water level is bad. If a sound with water appears, it indicates the fear of the nagas, so avoid it and bury the pit. White soil color indicates that there is accomplishment of the royal family, etc. Place a precious vase and treasure in that place. Offer torma. Perform the farewell ceremony and erase the image of the nagas. Make aspirations. If houses, etc., are built on that auspicious land, it will be auspicious. This ritual and examination are mainly for examining the foundation of houses and mandalas. The soil of the mandala foundation should be sticky and free of stones, trees, etc. Because stones, trees, etc., are thorns of the earth, they should be removed and made sticky.
