There are two types: conventionally, not regarding oneself as equal to the Buddha, and not accepting vows of equal conduct, which is outer yoga. Because one cannot accept vows without protection, one does not separate from common precepts, or by meditating on the three secrets of body, speech, and mind, one is not controlled by discordant forces, so it is the vehicle of the Shakyamuni lineage. Conversely, inner yoga is the vehicle of skillful means of transforming all appearances into great bliss. The second is divided into outer yoga tantra and unsurpassed yoga tantra. The first is that the view of those who have entered the outer yoga, the vehicle of the Shakyamuni lineage, is that, like Kriya, they do not primarily cling to external implements, but the nature of non-arising and non-ceasing in the ultimate truth appears as deities, male and female, and the samadhi of completely purifying the lineage, which is similar in appearance to that meditation and view, is called the form body of the noble ones. There are two types of deities: the ultimate truth deity and the deity of mental distinction. There are two types of deities: the ultimate truth and the conventional appearance deity. To meditate on the deity of the same cause belonging to it is the deity named by the being with vows. If one becomes accustomed to this, the nature of the two truths as deities will become manifest. This samadhi is also generated through the five manifestations of enlightenment and the four great miracles, and should be endowed with the four seals. The great seal of the body is the body itself, and its cause is letters and hand gestures, etc. The seal of speech is to meditate on the five-pronged vajra on the tongue, etc. The seal of mind has two aspects: holding and possessing. Holding is the sign of the five wisdoms being contained in the mind, the five-pronged vajra, etc. Possessing is the vajra bell. The action seal is to visualize a crossed vajra on a moon disc at the heart, from which rays of light emanate and gather, inviting the noble ones, benefiting beings, etc. These do not deviate from the conduct of the body, speech, mind, and activities of the great lords, and one strives to practice them, or in the same way as this essence, one meditates in an increasing manner, with inner yoga as the main practice, thereby hoping to achieve common and supreme siddhis. Secondly, there are two: teaching and explanation. The first is that inner yoga is the skillful means tantra.

The views of those who enter this vehicle are of three types: the generation stage Mahāyoga, which mainly teaches the method of generation; the completion stage Anuyoga, which mainly teaches the wisdom of the completion stage; and the Ati Dzogchen stage, which mainly teaches non-duality and union. Secondly, there are two parts: the general explanation of the three stages and the specific explanation of the entrance to them. First, there are three stages: the generation stage, the completion stage, and the Great Perfection stage. First, regarding the generation stage, if it is generated by these three inner tantras, then it is a deity; if it is not generated, then it is not regarded as a deity, but it is not so, because it is consistent to view it as a spontaneously accomplished mandala in which cause and effect are inseparable. However, it is only necessary to gradually practice the skill of samadhi. In this, to view all phenomena as becoming enlightened in the mandala of images, there are three types of Buddhas: the Buddha of nature, the Buddha of realization, and the Buddha of accomplishment. The first is sentient beings, and among them, there are the Buddha of the cause of birth, the Buddha of the basis of birth, and the Buddha of the manifest accomplishment of birth. Among them, the first is the three causes of the body's accomplishment: sperm, blood, and mind; the second is all the elements of the body and mind of the two parents; the third is the time when one's own body is manifestly accomplished, and all three of these are naturally enlightened. Second, the Buddha of realization is those who abide on the ground of vidyādharas. Third, the Buddha of accomplishment is the one who directly sees that. These are also considered to have differences of nature and circumstance. Therefore, although one does not perceive a dharma that has not become enlightened, in order to make the unawakened awaken and the unaccustomed become accustomed, one wishes to train the mind in the three grounds of the Buddha, that is, to train the mind in the ground of all-pervading light, therefore, one meditates on the non-conceptual samadhi of suchness; in order to become accustomed to the ground of the lotus, one meditates on the all-appearing samadhi, which is related to wisdom and compassion; in order to become accustomed to the ground of the great assembly of the wheel of letters, one meditates on the samadhi of the cause, meditating on the letters, that is, gradually generating the three types of samadhi, and when one becomes accustomed to that, one gradually arranges and meditates on the mandala of the support and the supported.
