Now, what is taught is negation by non-existence. Non-affirming negation is establishing the nature of another dharma, so there is no meaning of union in that way. Also, positing appearance as without inherent existence, if it is understood as if there is emptiness apart from appearance, even if it is called negation by non-existence, it becomes affirming negation. Appearance itself being non-existent, yet appearing, is union, which is very wonderful. Thus, since appearance and emptiness exist inseparably and inexpressibly, the ultimate meaning is beyond acceptance and rejection, transcending the mind. The sutra says that if the ultimate truth becomes the object of body, speech, and mind, it becomes conventional truth, not the ultimate truth, which is extensively explained. Therefore, in the realm of elaboration, the limited aspects such as the different natures that depend on each object of negation are transformed into various forms such as distinctions of direction and time, and are merely conceptual constructs. Since these do not transcend the nature of conventional truth and duality, they do not have the meaning of the equality of the dharmadhatu. Since all dharmas are inherently without arising, cessation, etc., they are of one taste in the realm beyond all elaboration, and the equality of being without difference or duality is called the dharmadhatu, and it is also called the sole reality. Second, refuting objections: If inherent existence is emptiness, then it would follow that everyone directly realizes it. If it is empty but does not appear, then no one can realize it, and it would follow that the reason is meaningless. For that which is without inherent existence, since pervasion, etc., are not established, it is impossible to establish the terms of the thesis and the reason. These are the three objections. The first is the objection and the response. First: If that is realized, because that is the direct perception of its nature, why do even the unwise not realize such things of phenomena? For example, if one directly sees a ground without a pot, just as one realizes that there is no pot on that ground, if the nature of all dharmas is emptiness, free from all imputation, then, since the subject of the pot, etc., is directly realized, the nature of the subject, which is not established apart from itself, must also be directly perceived. Therefore, even the unwise, who do not have a white view, who do not know the births of individual children, who do not know reasons, etc., for things

Why don't you understand the reality or essence of these things? If you don't understand, it will become not its essence. If it is the essence, it is impossible not to understand. This is the argument. Secondly, the answer is: Not from the beginning, the continuum is heavy, clinging to things as the master, therefore all sentient beings cannot directly realize it. It is said that the nature of things is like that, but not everyone can understand it, because from this time onwards, the mind stream that has been born again and again in the beginningless existence where the end cannot be found, is stained by the poison of clinging to things, and the imprints of repeated habituation are very stable and heavy, making it difficult to abandon. Therefore, even if you directly see a vase, you cannot determine what its nature is like. Because that object is clung to as a thing, and is dominated by inverted thoughts, therefore all sentient beings cannot directly realize the emptiness of the nature of things. For example, just as those who are deceived by clinging to the transmission from one similarity to another do not understand the moment. Therefore, although non-emptiness, which contradicts the emptiness of the nature of the object, is not directly manifested, it is grasped as inverted because it is deceived by inverted thoughts. Therefore, the direct perception is not harmful. Furthermore, direct perception is grasped as inverted, because clinging to things is something that does not exist, so although it seems like a contradiction, there is also something strange about it. However, clinging only to direct perception is not so strange. For example, when the shape of a cow, etc., which is far from the cow itself and the vase itself, or the commonality of the two, is clearly seen, those with inverted wisdom of the sects who live by wearing yellow robes and begging for food, do not understand what is seen in that way, but think that it exists in the unseen commonality, this idea is really too strange. The answer to the second debate is: Cutting off their made-up additions, with the reasoning that can know, inference knows all inferences, yoga is free and direct perception is clear. It is said that,
