If it is thought that (these) are not yet established, then, if all aspects can change at the time of purification, then according to your view, this should also be established. Even if confusion disappears, aspects cannot change, because you believe that aspects do not exist, so there is no connection with confusion and its habitual tendencies. For example, just as the absence of a horse does not necessarily mean that a cow will change. Another fault is that even if knowledge is only false in the impure state, in the pure state, since there are no various aspects, it is only established as true. If you think so, then it must be explained from what cause the true knowledge that did not exist before arises. It is not from the previous false knowledge, because it has become the opposite of the truth, so it has no power to generate the truth. If it has the power, then it will not become false. If it has the power but is not true, then thinking it is true will not become true. The knowledge that is established as true at the time of purification is not without cause, because it would fall into the fault of being permanent and non-existent. It is impossible for knowledge to be established only in the state of being true by its own nature, because the harm of the reasoning that blocks the self, permanent things, etc., will occur the same regardless of before or after, which is the same as this. Even if it is admitted that it arises from the power of the previous moment, it is not possible for the true knowledge that is established as true, because in the ultimate sense, the things related to cause and effect are not established. Like this, simultaneous cause and effect is unreasonable, because before the effect arises, the cause does not exist, so there is no power, and when it has power after it is established, the effect has already been established, so these two cannot be regarded as cause and effect. Even if the times are different, it is unreasonable for cause and effect to be truly established, because it will not arise from being separated or not separated by other times. Like this, if it is separated by other times, then there must be destruction between the cause and the effect, because if the cause does not perish, separation is also impossible. Therefore, if it must arise from the destruction itself after the cause has perished, that is also unreasonable, because destruction is non-existent, and non-existence is separated from all abilities. If it does not have the characteristic of destruction, then how does the cause perish? It will not perish. If destruction is a thing, then mixing

Why wouldn't the previous objects, such as rotten trees, exist now? There is no other reason to make them non-existent now except for decay, so all objects would be eternal, and if the cause does not cease, then the production of the result is unreasonable, so the result will be interrupted, and decay itself will become an object that is not produced from a cause, etc., there are endless faults, so decay is named from the part where the cause is decayed and non-existent. There is not even a little object in the nature of decay itself. If it exists, then non-things will be impossible in the knowable, because non-things are only named from the negative part of things, and there is no separate non-thing at all. If non-things are not non-things like this, then ultimately negation and affirmation, things and non-things, existence and non-existence, etc., all of these will not become mutually exclusive natures, but will be confused, All classifications of knowable things will disappear. Therefore, the so-called decay is only a non-affirming of the part where the cause is decayed, so it itself has no ability at all, and the cause does not exist now, so it is also unreasonable to produce from the interval. This fault and the two meanings shown that the cause and effect of water cannot be produced without meeting are the same. If, as it is thought that it is produced from decay, then it is admitting that it is produced without meeting. If there is no other time interval between the cause and the result, then it will become simultaneous, because there is no interval between two branchless moments, and there is no other possibility than simultaneous. If there is no interval at all like this, then it will become one, so it is also unreasonable for oneself to produce oneself, and time will also become a kalpa, just a moment. So, this unreasonable relationship between cause and effect, doesn't it also show that the conventional cause and effect is also unreasonable? No, like this, although it appears as cause and effect, it is established as conventional because it cannot be examined in that way. If the cause and effect are things that can be analyzed, then it will become the ultimate truth, how can it become the conventional truth? Therefore, refutation and examination are not the same for the conventional truth. These are clearly summarized and shown as stated in Kamalaśīla's Difficult Explanation. So, like this, if the cause and effect cannot be produced whether they meet or do not meet, then the cause and the result
