Wood. All the great accomplished vidyadharas practice it in their hearts. Because it is the only path to omniscience, It is the essence of all the old and new schools. To illustrate its way, the great translator Gyetsé said: The ultimate and special view, the non-abiding union, is the intention of the Buddhas of the three times. Whoever desires to separate method and wisdom, because they fall into extremes, should be refuted. And so on. And the king of Tibet, Zhadpa Dorje, said: When appearance and emptiness are inseparable, the view is merged into the expanse. And, existence appears as a real thing, and non-existence is the nature of emptiness, the two are inseparable in essence, one in taste, so there is no self-awareness or other-awareness. And so on. Also, in the instructions of Manjushri to the great Sakya Pandita, in the instructions on separating from the four attachments, it says: If attachment arises, it is not the view. And, the lord of the wise men of the snowy land, Sakya Pandita, said: What is the valid position here? Whatever person one relies on is supreme. The aspect of appearance is conventional truth, the aspect of emptiness is ultimate truth, and the aspect of inseparability is union. In the Five Stages, it says: Appearance and emptiness, having understood them in their respective aspects, when they are completely mixed together, that is what is called union. So it is said. These three ways, also understand what their meaning is, it is the place of knowledge. Therefore, practicing through the union of method and wisdom is the path to be cultivated. Having realized it, one temporarily traverses the grounds and paths, and ultimately obtaining the three bodies is the result. This way does not contradict scripture and reason, and is the intention of all the definitive meaning scriptures. Je Tsongkhapa also said: Beginners, without the certainty of analysis by reason, merely fall into non-conceptual words, which do not harm the clinging to reality at all, so in order to protect those who have gone astray, for the time being, the grasping of selflessness that arises from analysis is important, and then in the ultimate instructions, he said: Appearance is the infallible dependent arising, and emptiness is the understanding that is free from assertion, as long as they appear separately, one has not yet realized the intention of the Buddha. When, without alternation, simultaneously, from merely seeing the infallible dependent arising,

When all attachments to objects of cognition vanish, then the analysis of views is perfected. And so on. Glorious Rangjung Dorje also said: It is not existent, even the Buddhas have not seen it; It is not nonexistent, the basis of all samsara and nirvana; It is not contradictory, the union of the Middle Way; May I realize the nature of mind, free from extremes! And also, Realization Master Dolpopa said: When analyzed by the wisdom of subsequent discrimination, The ultimate result, the nature of body and wisdom, The Sugata-garbha itself is the nature of permanence, stability, peace, and eternity, It is the infallible and supreme truth. When reciting in meditative equipoise, it is said to meditate on the complete absence of elaboration, which is extremely profound. Furthermore, the secret lord, the protector of salvation, said: Thus, these ignorant beings of the world, Are they completely nonexistent like rabbit horns? By conceptually analyzing true objects, They will fall into the two extremes of permanence and annihilation. Cessation by interdependence, permanence by emptiness; Empty because it abandons, depends, and arises; Because of emptiness, everything arises, Emptiness and interdependence are inseparable. And so on, indicating that the holy ones are like the Buddhas and accomplished ones, whose intentions are said to be the same. However, even the texts that emphasize each side of non-existence and existence are skillful means to destroy all afflictions and accomplish all purification. But it is not the case that the ultimate reality is established in that way alone. For example, the mind that fears the suffering of samsara and the mind that rejoices in peace are two things that beginners must generate. But when great Bodhisattvas see samsara and nirvana as equal, they must also abandon fear and attachment to samsara and nirvana. Therefore, when analyzing the ultimate reality, those who possess the four reliances should establish the nature of being free from the four extremes of elaboration, and refute those who contradict it. And some, deeply convinced of the ultimate freedom from the four extremes of elaboration, also emphasize one side of existence or non-existence due to necessity. And some others who are devoid of the four reliances regard the path of one side as the ultimate reality, and in reality, they have no slight abiding in equanimity, but are only indulging in the elaboration of verbal affirmation and negation. The sutra says:
