Therefore, if one carefully examines refutations and the like that prevent other-origination, trust will arise. In this treatise of the Khenpo, first, with immaculate wisdom that measures the two truths separately, the two truths are accomplished. Finally, in the great ultimate truth that is non-nominal, even the clinging to the two truths separately is prevented, thereby according with the wisdom of non-conceptual equipoise, and it is determined that all assertions are devoid, so these two treatises are identical without any distinction in their ultimate view. Now, one might think, does that mean the treatises of the Prasangikas become meaningless? No, because emptiness devoid of all assertions is extensively proven by reasoning. Therefore, to prominently explain the ultimate truth of nominality together with assertions is the characteristic of the Svatantrikas. One should understand that to prominently explain the ultimate truth that is non-nominal, devoid of all assertions, is the Prasangika. When establishing the characteristics of these two, distinguishing and establishing differences such as whether or not to accept establishment by self-character in conventionality, and the manner of formulating proofs, are merely differences of branches, and are included in the above characteristics. That is, whether there are assertions or not, whether or not to accept establishment by self-character in conventionality, whether the formulation of the proof of the absence of inherent existence is Prasangika or Svatantrika, and whether or not to apply the distinction of ultimate truth to the object of negation, are also determined by the reason just stated. Therefore, if a Prasangika abides in the ultimate truth of nominality and in all cases holds separate assertions of the two truths, then it is impossible to distinguish them from the Svatantrikas. Because the reasoning that prevents establishment by self-character even in conventionality, in any place of purity, if one grasps the key point, like placing a myrobalan fruit in the palm of one's hand, one can penetrate the depths of the tenets and thereby transcend doubt. Otherwise, it is very difficult. In this land of Tibet, the views of the Prasangikas also turn towards the Svatantrikas, and I think this may be due to the special circumstances of past connections. This pith instruction of reasoning that decisively determines what is manifest, Is the sound of the dragon that pleases Manjushri. The sleep of dreams in which tenets have not been distinguished, If it encounters this, it will awaken in an instant. Intermediate verses. Fifth, the necessity of not confusing the separate assertions of the two truths is: Equipoise

Since wisdom is beyond speech, thought, and expression, it transcends the realm of sound and concept. Without the immaculate wisdom of the two truths arising properly, one cannot enter such wisdom. Even when noble ones enter, in the post-attainment state, all aspects of affirmation and negation, such as existence and non-existence, being and non-being, do not go beyond the scope of sound and concept. Therefore, instructing others and subsequently teaching them, as well as speaking argumentative words to debaters, and so on, like this exists, like this does not exist, and so forth, all these meanings must be spoken after being examined by the discriminating wisdom that distinguishes all phenomena without confusion or inversion. In this way, regarding all the principles of cause and effect, path, and result, all affirmations and negations can be established through the path of reason, thereby enabling the harmless establishment of correct conventionalities. Furthermore, by relying on the eye of individual self-awareness wisdom that distinguishes all aspects of knowledge, one can attain mastery over the vision of wisdom that directly sees the meaning of equality, free from all elaborations. Moreover, if we measure the great equality of appearance and emptiness, the non-conceptual ultimate reality free from the four extremes, with the power of cognitive awareness, then clinging to each of the two truths is merely conceptualization. Therefore, even in conventional terms, the self-established conventional truth is refuted. If one merely dwells on the ultimate emptiness of names, one can never refute the self-established nature of the conventional truth, which is the meaning found by conventional valid cognition. If one negates and meditates only on non-existence, one will fall into partiality towards the two truths, thereby slandering the aspect of appearance. Just as Phur bu pa meditated on the non-existence of even the conventional truth, it is similar to the tenets and methods of the seven meditations of faith. Considering such situations, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Treasury also states: "Not knowing this principle, emptiness becomes nihilistic; although one says 'words are beyond existence and non-existence, free from extremes,' not knowing the basis of freedom, one holds the view of the peak of existence; therefore, one acts as an outsider to this teaching, like a sky-goer smearing ashes is permissible." Like this, the way in which the freedom from the four extremes arises in the mindstream, if it is the case of a beginner entering gradually, then first, with immaculate correct reasoning, refute the object of clinging to the existence of things in all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, and later the remaining non-existence, etc.
