The printing is complete. In detail, such as the Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, The Ornament of the Great Vehicle Sūtra, the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra, the Father-Son Meeting Sūtra, the Moon Lamp Samādhi Sūtra, the Elephant Strength Sūtra, the Inexhaustible Intellect Sūtra, the Collection of True Dharma Sūtra, the Nāgarāja Sāgara Requested Sūtra, the Jewel Cloud Sūtra, the Queen Śrīmālādevī Sūtra, and so on, if one carefully contemplates the immaculate intentions of all the Mahāyāna teachings, one will again have faith in this (treatise). In terms of how specific certainties arise, this treatise has five unique tenets of its own system that are superior to other Madhyamaka systems: first, it posits that the object to be measured, the defining characteristic, is only the entity that can perform a function; second, it has the uncommon view that consciousness is objectless, self-aware, and self-illuminating; third, it posits that the various appearances of external phenomena appear due to the power of one's own mind, and therefore are mind-only; fourth, it divides ultimate truth into two: nominal and non-nominal; and fifth, when establishing nominal ultimate truth, it holds that the ascertained meanings of each valid cognition are not contradictory. The necessity of each of these is also: first, the defining characteristic of the object to be measured, conventional truth, is that it can perform a function, but the parts that are non-entities cannot appear independently, so they rely on entities and are imputed by a mind that eliminates others. By understanding this, the conventional establishment is justified, and thus all knowable things that appear as conventional objects are determined to be impermanent. For example, space and so on are merely assumed to be permanent, but if it is determined that they are merely imputations without entities, then whatever is an entity must be able to perform a function, and if it can, it is established as momentary. Therefore, all entities are easily determined to be impermanent. If one understands how objects, entities, and imputations engage through the elimination of appearances, one will develop a deep understanding of this, and it will be like the heart and eyes of the valid cognition teachings. Within terminology itself, there is a division between correct and incorrect, and the belief that the ability to perform a function exists ultimately is in accordance with the Sautrāntika school. Dharmakīrti also said, "If I engage in the analysis of external objects, I will completely rely on the ladder of the Sautrāntika school." It is said that he said this. Here, although it is not believed that external objects are hidden, one must measure terminology in this way for the various appearances that arise due to the power of the mind. Second, self-awareness exists merely nominally.

Yes. Even though it is not the consciousness of objects that divides one's own nature into knower and known, but contrary to matter, merely arising as the nature of experiential clarity, it shows the system of establishing the term self-awareness as reasonable. Therefore, the accusations of self-acting on itself being contradictory, etc., will not arise, and the term self-awareness is established without harm. From this, it can be established that appearances are mind, and the term of experiencing objects is established without harm. If this is not accepted, since there is no connection, experiencing external objects, etc., will not be established, therefore all systems of manifest cognition will collapse, so self-awareness is the single key point of valid cognition for all terms. Thirdly, by accepting that various appearances are the magical manifestations of the mind, one knows the ultimate reality of terms and gains confidence in the way of entering and returning to samsara. In terms of the reality that is free from all elaborations of signs and characteristics, one does not fixate on appearances as being the mind. However, that is the ultimate truth that transcends terms. If one abides in the state of nominal appearances, then reasoning harms the existence of external objects, and there is reasoning that establishes mind-only. Therefore, without transcending the ground of manifest cognition, if one accepts a term, there is nothing higher than this. When examining phenomena that are merely posited by the power of thought, nothing is established anywhere. However, this which appears unmistakably in one's own experience and cannot be denied is established by the power of things as an appearance of mind or merely as self-appearance. To go beyond that is the stage of ultimate truth that transcends terms. It should be known that there is no system of terms higher than this. Therefore, the glorious Dharmakirti also said that the intention of the Blessed One, who sees the reality of things as they are with the eye of wisdom, is the essence of clarifying the system of terms, and that is all. Even so, combining and teaching the valid cognition of terms and the ultimate is a special characteristic of this text. In this way, if one knows that appearances are the play of mind itself, then the way to gain certainty about the way of entering and returning to samsara is as follows: Because various reversed habitual tendencies have been placed in the mind, various dream-like appearances continuously arise, but for this, there is no other cause than mind.
