Here, although it is said that "not preventing appearance" is merely acknowledging the common appearance of phenomena, if one raises the question, why not prevent appearance? This is not merely acknowledging for the sake of debate, but in order not to contradict one's own tenets, one must clearly understand it as not preventing appearance. If one understands such a principle, then it is very easy to acknowledge in conventional terms as well, because without relying on the strong attachment to various tenets, the valid cognition of worldly convention can be applied without hindrance. As it is said, "Without relying on dense attachment, conventional terms can be well established. If one is skilled in conventional terms, one will not be confused about the meaning of the scriptures." Just as it is said. Furthermore, for those who gradually enter the meaning of non-conceptualization, the way to ascertain the key points of Madhyamaka is: when a beginner investigates with one and many, etc., and contemplates the meaning of not finding a vase, etc., one feels that it exists when not examined, and does not exist when examined, and that this is the reality, thus a form of emptiness arises in the manner of alternating appearance and emptiness. At that time, if one contemplates that even that non-existence itself is not established, or that it is appearing while being empty from the beginning, a special certainty arises, like a moon in water, that appearance is emptiness and emptiness is appearance. At that time, the absence of inherent existence and dependent arising appear without contradiction, or it is called union. At that time, although there is a difference in the way the two are expressed in words, there is not the slightest difference in essence, thus generating a certainty of non-duality. By combining the basis of negation, appearance, and the object of negation, the cutting, the discriminating thought of grasping naturally dissolves, thus appearing in a manner of freedom from elaboration, like the ability to remain as it is without affirmation, negation, rejection, or acceptance. By becoming accustomed to such freedom from elaboration, one is freed from the thought patterns of individual natures that depend on the subject, and from the objects of focus. Thus, a special certainty arises about the equality of all phenomena, thereby reaching the ultimate. Thus, emptiness, union, freedom from elaboration, and equality are the four stages of the arising of Madhyamaka. These four are that certainty arises about the later and later principles by relying on gradually becoming accustomed to the former and former. These are very important key points of pith instructions. Secondly, it is divided into a brief statement of the proposition and a detailed establishment with reasoning. The first part.

Therefore, from beginningless samsara, for existence and non-existence, conceptualizations and so on, the seeds corresponding to their kind, should be subsequently inferred. Thus it is said. As mentioned above, it is slightly impossible for things to be established by their own nature, but the various appearances of samsara appear unhindered, therefore, from the beginningless stream of the mind of samsara, for existence and non-existence, conceptualizations of self and others, etc., the seeds corresponding to their own kind, should be subsequently inferred based on reason. Thus it is said. If we combine this in an easy-to-understand way, the cause of the appearance of various appearances and conceptualizations such as existence and non-existence, pillars and vases, the sky, etc., the seeds or habitual tendencies of conceptualization corresponding to each kind, also enter subsequently from the beginningless stream, which can be inferred by reason. Thus it is said. In reality, all dharmas are free from elaboration in the ultimate truth, but due to the various elaborations of the concepts of existence and non-existence, the minds of those whose wisdom is not clear are completely deluded, appearing as this and that without end, it is impossible to have no cause, so there must be a cause. Abandoning the seeds of the same kind, other causes cannot be established by reason, therefore, it can be determined that only the seeds of the same kind are the cause of various appearances. Thus it is said. Second, to establish it with reason, refuting the unreasonable, establishing the reasonable. First, this is not the power of things, it does not arise from that because that does not exist, the nature of things, is widely prohibited. Because it arises gradually, it is not sudden, because it is not constant arising, it is not permanent. Thus it is said. If one thinks, why is there no other cause that is not a seed of the same kind for various appearances? The reason for not having that is: if things such as vases were established independently, then one could rely on it to generate conceptualizations of this and that, but the conceptualizations or appearances of vases, etc., are merely appearances in the mind, not caused by the power of other things that exist separately. Because there is no that, if one thinks that the reason is not established, as mentioned above, the nature of the objects of knowledge of the things, widely
