When explaining the generation stage of Anuttara Yoga, if it is acknowledged that one is not primordially pure as the nature of the deity, but that contemplating oneself as the deity is effective, then what contradiction is there in the same occurring in Kriya Tantra? Furthermore, taking the bliss seen from the perspective of not separating from contemplating oneself as the deity as the path, as well as most activities such as bestowing empowerments on others and binding directions, as well as great accomplishments such as the Vidyadhara Chakravartin, and accomplishing various accomplishments such as accomplishing subjugation, are all accomplished by not abandoning the ordinary self-consciousness, and doing so only results in small benefits. If one cannot contemplate oneself as the deity because one is an ordinary person and does not possess the nature of the deity, then vase water and so on, as well as painted thangkas, mandalas, and so on, should also not be generated as deities, because they are also not actual deities. Contemplating the deity in front is also done by examining it with one's own mind. If there is a basis for clarity to arise from it, then one's own mind and one's own body appearing as the deity will also have a basis for clarity to arise. The appearance of the deity in front is also just an appearance of a mere clear aspect of one's own mind. If one clings to that as the actual wisdom deity separate from oneself and one's lineage, and in the manner of oneself being the recipient of accomplishments, then for those trainees who have a strong sense of superiority and inferiority, the Kriya Tantras that primarily emphasize the front generation are taught, but in all ways, ordinary beings and wisdom deities must not be mixed. If one holds onto the strong dualistic appearance that no ordinary appearance can be contemplated as the deity, then that will obstruct the arising of accomplishments. For practitioners of Kriya Tantra, when certainty arises that the deity and oneself are non-dual, wisdom will increase, and they will enter the intention of the higher tantras. Therefore, although the ultimate result cannot be attained without truly understanding the intention as explained in Anuttara Yoga, entering the path of the lower Sutras and Tantras in accordance with the minds of the trainees for the time being can also gradually lead to the attainment of the final result, but the difference in the proximity of the paths is increasingly superior, because both the view of wisdom and the method of cultivating the path are superior. For the nature of deities such as Vairochana and Manjushri, there is no superiority or inferiority in the difference between the higher and lower tantras, therefore in India...

Great Teacher Kunga Nyingpo and others consider that the rituals of the lower tantras can also be applied to the higher tantras. The Sakyapas consider that one Kriya Tantra can be explained as all four tantra classes. However, in order to accord with the minds of the disciples, according to the magnitude of the ordinary person's attachment to reality, whether or not purification is necessary, and whether or not one can use the pride of oneself as a deity as a meaningful path, just as the methods of practice of the four tantra classes are different. In whatever tantra, if these are explicitly stated, then it is necessary to make the corresponding classification of that tantra. Thus, when analyzed with reason, if it is said to be a Kriya Tantra, it cannot be determined that there is no self-generation of the deity, and if there is self-generation of the deity, there are also many reasonable reasons, no need to say more. From the point of view of scripture, those who do not accept self-generation of the deity in the tantra, since they acknowledge the actual Kriya Tantra, then the scriptures of the Vajrapani empowerment etc. quoted earlier, and the four general tantras considered to be Kriya Tantra, among which the Later Samadhi Tantra says that one of the two bases mentioned is to visualize oneself as a deity, and the Later Examination of the Supreme Dancer, which is considered to be only Kriya Tantra, says that one should visualize oneself as Vajrapani, and there are some such examples. If it is not explicitly stated that one should visualize oneself as a deity, it cannot be determined that it is a Kriya Tantra, just like the mantras that appear in the Anuttara Tantra, and some of the Carya Tantras, etc. Furthermore, the empowerment of Chuchen Pandita in the Kriya Tantra tradition, and purification and bathing, etc., although it is not clear whether they belong to the category of Kriya Tantra, must be considered as Kriya Tantra, just as if self-generation of the deity is not explained, one cannot practice self-generation of the deity, then one must also acknowledge the same for empowerment etc. Most of the tantras that do not explicitly explain self-generation of the deity also do not explicitly explain front-generation of the deity, so these will also become not Kriya Tantra, and some Yoga Tantras and Anuttara Tantras, although mantras and rituals etc. are mentioned, there is no manifestation of the deity such as self-generation of the deity. Just because one can recite mantras, it cannot be determined that it belongs to the tantra class, for example, receiving the empowerment of Chuchen Pandita etc. before
