In reality, there are only two types of yoga: with signs and without signs. First, yoga with signs refers to focusing on deities and mantras. For example, if one relies on and practices the wisdom deity who is completely pure in the conventional truth, since they possess the power to definitely bestow accomplishments, like a lord. One views oneself as a servant who obtains accomplishments through pleasing that deity. In the ultimate truth, the nature of reality is without good or bad, and free from the four extremes. As a phenomenon, in name, through dependent origination, one blesses oneself with deities, mantras, and mudras, and practices in accordance with the view of having a special certainty that the fruit of what is focused on will be unfailingly obtained. Having generated the supreme mind of enlightenment, received empowerment, and being a practitioner with vows, one abandons the unawakened thought of merely mind regarding deities and mantras, and meditates on the form of the deity's body and the manner of the mantra in a way that is feasible. How is the manner? In the "Vajrapani Empowerment Tantra," it says, "By making one's own deity and one's own form inseparable, one should recite until signs do not appear." And, "Tranquil Intelligence, when the conduct of a bodhisattva is practiced in the door of secret mantra, having made oneself into the form of one's own deity, with a mind without doubt, generating pride, whether walking, standing, sitting, or lying down, constantly at all times, when moving or not moving." And, "Manjushri, when one has completely abandoned one's own form and obtained unwavering pride in the deity, at that time the nature of secret mantra, by the nature, by the nature, shows the nature," etc. This is yoga with signs. In the "Realization that Transcends the Three Realms," it says, "The great lord of all sentient beings also abides within oneself." Having blessed, one should cultivate pride, saying, "I am a hero." And, "Examining one's own mind separately, that is the Buddha's enlightenment." And, "The three worlds are that." And, "The great elements are that." And, "That is Vajrapani." And, "The Buddha family is also that." Thus, the families of vajra, lotus, and jewel

It is also said to be that very thing. By blessing and merging with the mind, it also transforms into Vajrasattva. The Bhagavan Vajra himself, when meditated upon, becomes a Bodhisattva. Thus it is said. Moreover, at all times, constantly seeing my body as the body of the deity, my speech as the speech of the deity, my mind as the mind of the deity, as being the same, at that time, it is Samadhi. As it is said, exemplified by this, in the Action Tantras, there are many yogas with signs that are taught to be meditated upon as oneself. Therefore, when meditating on the path of the special Action Tantras, it is indispensable to visualize oneself as the deity and generate pride. Generally, Action Tantras have two types: those that are just that, and those that are special. The former, as it is said in the Tantra Requested by Strong Arms: I will explain in the manner of the Secret Mantra Sutra. As it is said, it is taught in a manner similar to the Dharanis of the common Sutra Pitaka. For most of the subtle conceptual mantras, one does not visualize oneself as the deity, but invites the wisdom deity in front, makes offerings and recitations, and practices relying on painted cloth, and so on. The rituals of these, the Panditas and Siddhas have also explained in the manner of the Secret Mantra Sutra Pitaka, and they also consider these to belong to the Action Tantra. Furthermore, in the Tantra Collected from All, the Wisdom Vajra, it is said: In the Action Tantra, there is no bliss of the wisdom mind, and there is no pride of oneself as the deity. This does not mean that, like the Yoga Tantra, one visualizes oneself and the deity as inseparable, and that it is not taught to merge the wisdom deity into oneself, but rather that one mainly visualizes the deity in front. Therefore, one should not generate the pride of the deity as in the Yoga Tantra. Rather, it means that one does not completely visualize oneself as the deity, because the practitioners of the Action Tantra view themselves and the deity as good or bad in relative truth. Therefore, even if one generates the clear appearance of the pride of oneself as the deity, one cannot generate the actual awareness of being the deity as in the higher tantras. If that is the case, then when my three doors and the three secrets of the deity appear inseparable, the prophecy of the mantra is accomplished. The idea that this contradicts the scripture that one has quoted oneself, in relative truth, even if it is not the actual nature of the deity, one cultivates the pride of being the deity, and thus the appearance arises, and thus obtaining the accomplishment of the three secrets of the deity is not contradictory. Nowadays, most of the new mantra practitioners, clear
