If there is no Alaya, then due to the cause of action (karma), the consciousness of the six senses such as the eye, etc., the defiled consciousness along with attachment, etc., arises simultaneously. If the Alaya consciousness is not accepted, then is it thought that the six senses can take birth? The eye consciousness, etc., arising simultaneously with attachment, etc., cannot originate from previous actions, because it is due to consciousness that name and form arise. The previous eye consciousness, etc., are momentary, and those that have ceased for a long time cannot be the cause of name and form at the time of the intermediate state, otherwise there will be many faults. If one is concerned about this fault and thinks of the consciousness at the time of the intermediate state, that is also not possible. Because at the time of the intermediate state consciousness, merit, non-merit, and unwavering actions have ceased for a long time. Moreover, during this period, there is no stable stream of consciousness that can be used as a connection. The mind that connects the intermediate state with self-generated attachment and aversion is not neutral, but the result of maturation is neutral, so it cannot be the cause of action. If the six senses that are in accordance with action create habits on the Alaya consciousness, then it is possible. If there is no consciousness that is completely perfumed by action, then due to the cause of the receiver who has turned to manifest the fruit, samsara is not possible. Only through the state of habits can the possibility of the maturation of karma truly manifesting or entering be found, the intermediate state consciousness is not possible. If the consciousness perfumed by habits does not exist, then when the fruit manifests, where will the karma reside? Thus, if there is no Alaya consciousness, the all-pervasive afflictions of karma are also not possible. If consciousness does not arise from the cause of action, then due to the cause of the receiver, samsara is not possible. How can there not be all-pervasive afflictions of birth? Connecting the intermediate state, that is, connecting continuously before and after, is not possible. For example, when dying from a state of non-meditation and transferring to the state of the mind intermediate state, the consciousness connects the intermediate state with the afflictions of attachment and aversion and arises, the consciousness is afflicted.

Since it belongs to the intermediate state of existence, when it ceases, consciousness may also be contained in the mother's womb, fainting into a blurred state. If one faints, relying on fainting will not enter the mother's womb. Therefore, if consciousness faints, relying on fainting will not enter the mother's womb. Fainting means being born in the womb and holding the ripening result. Relying on holding the state of existence, it is connected with virtues such as faith, non-virtues corresponding to desire, and experiencing feelings of pleasure and pain. The consciousness with various distinctions should arise sequentially in the subsequent stages. But when fainting, consciousness ceases and disappears. How can it hold the body of seminal and menstrual nature, and how can it produce subsequent stages and enter the womb? The consciousness of the entrant has fainted, and it needs to be re-examined. Therefore, at that time, not relying on the manifestation of mind, having the nature of ripening, not being predicted, the object and image are uninterrupted, the consciousness fainting in accordance with equanimity, and the fabrication relying on it, non-ripening, being predicted, the object and image are distinguished, the consciousness corresponding to the feeling of pleasure and pain, if these two consciousnesses must exist simultaneously, it contradicts the sutras. Aren't you saying this? It is impossible for two five aggregates of consciousness to arise without interruption, there is no opportunity. These two are not one consciousness, because their natures are different. If the ripening is interrupted, then the life force will also be interrupted. If there is no ripening, then the five types of beings will also disappear. The fainting consciousness cannot be consciousness, whatever is consciousness itself, whether self or other is certain or constant, that itself is not constantly in a state of affliction, because there are three types: virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral. That is like the consciousness that arises in the future. All minds that connect the continuum are always in a state of affliction. The stage contained by the intermediate state of existence, with the state of existence as the object, is always in a state of affliction in all realms, because the state of existence is considered to be a state of affliction. Therefore, through the fault of his own commitment, it is shown that the dharma is contrary to its own essence.
