The vow of a Bodhisattva's discipline should be understood as superior to that of a Śrāvaka. With these four distinctions, the distinctions of a Bodhisattva's training will be limitless, for example, in the Mahāyāna Sutra Pitaka called Vinaya, there are instances of explanations with thousands upon thousands of elaborations. 7. Having thus shown the distinction of higher discipline, seventh, how should one view the distinction of higher mind? In brief, it should be viewed with six distinctions: The so-called training of the mind, here the sound of mind refers to the samādhi arising from the mind, just as "written by the mind" refers to the act of writing. Differentiating by object 1, differentiating by variety 2, differentiating by antidote 3, differentiating by suitability 4, differentiating by realization 5, and differentiating by action 6. The meanings of these should be understood in order as follows: Because it focuses on the Mahāyāna Dharma 1 that abandons the Śrāvakayāna. 7. When one abides in what, all Mahāyāna Dharmas appear, that is the samādhi in which the Mahāyāna appears. Where all merits are perfectly accomplished or accumulated, that is its samādhi. The King of Samādhis, Well-Protected, like a king of the world, is the master of all samādhis, if it exists, then in the ten directions, the Buddhas of the present will appear visibly, and Heroic Progress is the most supreme of all samādhis, like a brave general among soldiers, it is able to destroy the hordes of demons. Therefore, there are countless varieties of samādhi. 2.7. All Dharmas are mixed, the wisdom that focuses on the collected or general aspect makes all Dharmas mixed in suchness, because it is inseparable from it, like the way a child gives birth to a child, that is, the earlier child gives birth to the later child, and the way a small child gives birth to a large child, in the ālaya-vijñāna, all the coarse seeds of negative karma are produced by the subtle antidote wisdom that focuses on suchness. 3.7. Without diminishing from abiding in the bliss of meditative absorption.

Because everything manifests as tending towards activity. The practice of being difficult to be tainted means that although born in the world, one is not tainted by the eight worldly dharmas. The practice of being difficult to believe is that even at the time of believing and practicing without directly realizing or understanding its meaning, one believes in all the teachings that reveal the vastness and profundity of the Great Vehicle. The practice of being difficult to realize is realizing the absence of self in persons and the absence of self in phenomena. The practice of being difficult to understand is that one does not hesitate about the profound intentions spoken by the Tathagatas, and understands their meaning. The practice of being difficult to not differentiate and be without afflictions is that one does not completely abandon samsara, and even if one does not differentiate, one is without afflictions because one does not differentiate between the two, but rather does both simultaneously. The practice of being difficult to combine is that the Buddhas who abide in liberation from all obscurations, although their own benefit is complete, spontaneously accomplish all the benefits of all sentient beings until the end of samsara. The practice of being difficult to understand refers to the intentions spoken by the Buddhas, how do those Bodhisattvas understand them? For example, the sutra says, how can a Bodhisattva be generous? Because one does not fixate on the three spheres, one does not fixate on who gives to whom, or because one realizes the equality of self and others, one does not think of giving to anyone else, but rather thinks of giving to everyone. If one does not give even a little, one will also enter into the immeasurable activity of all giving in all ten directions. How does one desire to give? If one thinks of giving to oneself and relatives, etc., one does not generate desire for all giving, because this thought is prevented, so it is non-attachment, that is, aiming at nirvana, benefiting others, and non-existence. How does one have faith in giving? If one thinks that relying solely on faith in the Tathagatas is not enough, it is not merely relying on the scriptures, but giving after each person realizes the nature of self-cognizant awareness. How does one complete giving? If one enters naturally by one's own nature, one does not need to make a special effort to make oneself enter into giving, so it is giving oneself.
