Because of not understanding these six, none of them can arise without the presence of one, so they are present in all minds. The corresponding pervasive is with afflictions. The mind affliction is that mind and the four afflictions are always corresponding. Occasionally corresponding are mind and so on, virtuous dharmas, attachment and so on, afflictions and near afflictions. The corresponding state is with the corresponding feeling of pleasure. Suffering and the state of neither pleasure nor pain are also corresponding. The continuous corresponding is at the time of body and mind together. The continuously interrupted corresponding is interrupted by the samadhi of mindless absorption. The external corresponding is mostly the mind and mental factors of the desire realm except for hearing and so on. The internal view is except for some of the samadhi grounds. The previously mixed corresponding are the mind and mental factors of ordinary beings, and the mind and mental factors of learners and non-learners are also the same. That is to say, worldly virtues, non-virtues, and neutral dharmas, each as appropriate. The unmixed corresponding are the first moment of the mind and mental factors of the transcendent, and the second moment after that, and the subsequent attainment of the past. Those who are proficient in correspondence know whether the feelings and so on in the mind, and the defiled and purified dharmas are corresponding or not. Therefore, one can feel oneself, can perceive, can think, can remember, can be afflicted, can be purified. By abandoning the attachment to manifestation, one can enter into non-self. What is it to possess? In terms of nature, the increase and decrease of virtues and other dharmas, attainment, possession, and planting are as before. The divisions are: possessing seeds, possessing power, and possessing pervasive arising. Seeds are: born in the desire realm, possessing the afflictions of the desire realm, and the afflictions of the form and formless realms, and the innate virtues. Possessing seeds is possessing. Born in the form realm, not possessing the afflictions of the desire realm, possessing seeds. Possessing all the afflictions of the form and formless realms and the seeds of innate virtue. Born in the formless realm, not possessing the afflictions of the desire and form realms, possessing seeds. Possessing the afflictions of the formless realm and the seeds of one's own innate virtue, this is possessing.

Oh! For those who have detached from worldly desires, they do not possess worldly afflictions, but it cannot be said that they do not possess seeds or latent tendencies. By obtaining the antidote to sever the desire for the three realms, those who practice severing the three types of afflictions—superior, middling, and inferior—do not possess the seeds of these afflictions; those who have not generated the antidote possess the seeds of these afflictions. Having power means: for worldly virtues, such as generosity, hearing the Dharma, etc., although there are seeds of these virtues, they cannot be manifested because they have not been cultivated and the seeds have not grown. And past meditations, liberations, samādhis, absorptions, etc., and unspecified dharmas. Some, such as craftsmanship and emanations, etc., are possessed because of having power. Having origination means: from the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, whether virtuous, non-virtuous, specified, or unspecified, whatever dharma manifests, it is possessed because of having origination. Severing the root of virtue means: possessing the seeds of virtuous dharmas is said to be possessing the root of virtue; it can also be said to be not possessing the root of virtue. Being forever associated with all afflictions, the dharma of not entering nirvāṇa, should be considered as possessed by beings with desire and existence, because they do not have the cause of liberation, so they never possess the cause of liberation. The benefit of being skilled in possession is: by understanding the rise and fall of dharmas, one can definitely recognize the perfection and decline of the world, thereby abandoning attachment and aversion. This is the definition extracted from the collection, and it is the first part. What is ascertainment? It is the ascertainment of truth, the ascertainment of dharmas, the ascertainment of attainment, and the ascertainment of reliable and truthful speech. First, are the four noble truths. The truth of suffering is: whatever world sentient beings are born into, and whatever place they are born in, both the container world and the sentient being world should be recognized as the truth of suffering. The birth of sentient beings, such as hells, etc., has the name of the three realms. Many places are described, which are easy to understand and do not need to be repeated. The characteristic of impermanence of the truth of suffering is: whatever characteristic of non-existence, that is, in the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the self (藏文:བདག་,梵文天城体:आत्म,梵文罗马拟音:ātma,汉语字面意思:我) does not exist at all times. And the characteristic of destruction, that is, the arising of conditioned aggregates. And the characteristic of change, that is, becoming other. And the characteristic of separation, that is, not abiding for a moment. And the characteristic of oppression, that is, being oppressed by impermanence. And the characteristic of dharma nature, that is, impermanence itself is the cause of arising. And the momentary
