It is the object of the peak of existence. The object of affliction is: because it is taken as an object, it is called an object. The object of the Dharma in the words of the Sutra Pitaka is: the collection of names, words, and letters of all the treatises. The object of meaning is: the meaning to be expressed that depends on it. The small object is the vehicle of the Hearers. The vast object is the Great Vehicle. The object with characteristics: calm abiding and, attachment and, the object of equanimity. The object without characteristics is: Nirvana and, the peak of existence. The object of only that is: suchness and, the objects of the sixteen aspects of truth, etc. The object to be dwelt in is: the object of the mind and mental factors that are applied to the cessation attainment. The object of mastery is: the object of the ultimate qualities of omniscience, such as liberation. The object of a moment is: the life of those who are beyond learning. The object of those who follow is: the object of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. How is it established? Because it is established in this way, the object is not completely established. It should be understood that the object is not completely established in four ways: the cause of different consciousnesses and, the object of consciousness without an object and, the transformation without obscuration and without inversion and, because it is in accordance with the three consciousnesses. Therefore, the grasping is also not completely established. The three consciousnesses are: sense consciousness and, the consciousness of higher vision and, non-conceptual consciousness. The examples of the four ways are: in order, first, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, and, how gods are in their respective categories, things are the same but minds are different, therefore, it is considered that the meaning is not established. Second, the past, etc., like dreams and, images, both are also, because they do not exist, because there is no object, that is suitable as an object. Third, if the meaning becomes meaning, consciousness will not become non-conceptual. Because there is no it, therefore, becoming a Buddha is not reasonable. Fourth has three, first, Bodhisattvas attain freedom and, yogis are also like this, due to the power of faith, things like earth are taken as objects in that way.

Revised edition. Second, regarding this, the accomplishment of discernment, as well as the wise who have attained peace, when contemplating all dharmas, because in that way the meaning is not apparent. Third, regarding the flow of unknowing knowledge, because all meanings are not apparent, therefore, one should comprehend the meaninglessness. Because of the absence of that, there is no consciousness. Thus it is taught. How is it through complete knowledge? It is because of thoroughly knowing the characteristics and distinctions as they truly are. How is it through abandonment? It refers to the transformation of the basis in the Hearers and the Great Vehicle. The transformation of the basis in the Hearers' Vehicle is liberation from the objects of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, but they do not attain mastery over them. The transformation of the basis in the Great Vehicle is both. How is it through mastery? Just as the wind mandala supports the water mandala, etc., the condition of mastery is being in control of the support. The vessel is the environment of sentient beings. The elements are the produced. The faculties are the dominant condition for the consciousnesses. The common karma of sentient beings is the dominant condition of the agent, being in control of projecting the vessel world. Past contaminated karma is related to maturation, etc. The mind is the dominant condition for the simultaneous arising of mental factors. Attention is of the mind, contact is of feeling, and so on. Being in control of objects, the five faculties such as the eye are the dominant condition for being in control of forms, etc. The male and female faculties are in control of being born from the womb. The life faculty is in control of abiding in the same class. The five feelings closely experience the fruit of maturation. The five, such as faith, are in control of worldly purification. And the three, such as complete knowledge, are in control of supramundane purification. It should also be regarded as the condition of mastery. How are they similar to and in accordance with what is relied upon, and similar or the same as that? The sense faculty that is not separate from consciousness and whose continuum is similar to it, constantly arising in the object, is considered dependent or similar to what is relied upon. The sense faculty that is separate from consciousness and whose continuum is similar to its own class, constantly arising, should also be regarded as similar to that. One aspect of the aggregate of form, and the element and sense base of form, the five, such as the eye. Self, possessing and not possessing consciousness.
